Appliance Slider, Wooden Sliding Tray for Coffee Maker, Coffee Pot Slider for Counter, Kitchen Caddy Rolling Tray (Classic Black- Deep)

I have been wanting something like this for a while. Until recently they've been platic and slide, not rolled. And I love that is is wood. It is a little rough to the touch, as if it wasn't completely sanded down.Most people use this for fryers and food processors and the like, but I wanted one I felt comfortable putting a toaster on. I am not a big toast fan, but my family is.This fit our toaster well, although I was a bit worried when one reviewer claimed their toaster scorched the wood. I did not have that problem. It could be variables such has different types of toasters or what setting you toast the bread. We like ours lightly toasted, so that may be a factor. I do not know.This thing is very versatile. It doesn't go forward and backwards, it can be moved side to side and diagonally. I really like that! It's easy to clean with a wipe of a wag. I would not suggest it be submerged in water or use a lot of water on top to clean it. It is wood and water would weaken the wood over time. Just wiping it down with a damp rag now and then should be enough to clean it and protect the wood.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic appliance slider. I love that it automatically locks into place. You do not have to physically lock it. All you have to do is engage the handle, and your slider will move back-and-forth with ease and let go of the handle and it will automatically lock. It doesn’t get easier than this. I really like that the top surface is 100% LEVEL with no lip whatsoever. That was important to me as I have two shared appliances on the slider and I didn’t want one being on a slight tilt. That will be important to you also, if your appliance has to go slightly over the measurements of the slider. This appliance slider is well-made, solid wood and rolls so nicely. It is a one hand operation. Do note it is NOT multi direction. (like some other models) You will need to choose either the vertical orientation or the horizontal orientation at time of purchase. If you are like me, you will already know exactly you will be using this appliance., so changing directions is not an issue. This is a quality made and aesthetically pleasing appliance slider that will give you years of service. I am very happy. I chose this.

Perfect for my needs! Got one for the coffee maker and the toaster sitting next to it. Since both appliances sit under a low upper cabinet; being able to slide them forward to use is great; esp since I'm very short with an equally short arm reach ;) Since both appliances plug in in back of the coffee maker, and DH wants them unplugged between uses; being able to slide the appliance forward to plug and unplug instead of just dragging across the counter is greatly appreciated.These sliders have little locking wheels underneath them, so they don't scrape the counter when pulling and pushing (there's a recessed wheel unlock you push up as you pull forward or push back). Would definitely buy again.

Works well, easy to use, looks nice but have only had it one day so I'll give it 5 stars. Really wish Amazon and sellers would give you time to actually use a product.

Spouse had set up a literal board to set our coffee maker on. When I saw this, I realized it would not only do exactly what we both wanted (a secure base without putting coffee maker directly on our new counters), but would also address a little more - something better looking that could also easily move the appliance out of the way to maintain our counter space. I'm not sure why others are complaining. The only thing I that would improve is to insure it slide back and forth perfectly evenly. It could be the slight balance difference on each side, and not a big thing at all. It just needs very slight adjustment and not that noticeable if not perfectly straightened. We also like to keep something under the coffee maker as our Cusinart tends to "sweat" underneath, in spite of our being in a very arid environment. Moisture between the appliance and the surface it sits on is kind of gross. So we use a small gray, rubber mat to protect counter/caddy.It is a bit pricey, but well worth it to us.Included are pictures of "before" (spouse's piece of board solution - which BTW is very same concept), and a bit more refined solution with wheels on it to make us both happy. The wheels also stay very secure when the lever is not engaged.First photo is "before" - our temporary board solution taking up counter space.Next picture is "after" with appliance on slider-caddy pulled out to make coffee.Final "after" picture is with appliance on slider-caddy rolled back away to give us back all that that counter space.

Fixed my problem. Love how it rolls. Didn’t expect it to lock in place. Looks good.
