100% Satisfied
I've owned this mount for several months now and was a bit sceptical at first especially trusting it to hold my 45" 4K Samsung above some other pricey items but I couldn't be happier with it. Came with everything needed for instillation (built in bubble level on the face is a huge plus) can adjust the tension just in case your item is heavier or lighter (hasn't lost tension since I installed it) and moving it up, down and side to side is effortless. The only con I would have with this item is the cable claps that go over the cables to hold it to the arm are a bit flimsy and they tend to fall out but that's easy to get around with Velcro ties or even zip ties. Build quality other than that is solid. Doesn't feel like some cheap POS.

Beast of a mount!
Heavy duty mount!!! All of my mounts are gas assist so I was already familiar with this type. I used it to mount a 50” TV that weighs about 35 pounds. This mount is a beast. Super easy install and no issues. I really wish people would do their homework before buying mounts like this so they know how they operate. The bad reviews are people who don’t know how to adjust tension correctly. You have to find the sweet spot on tension where you can lift and lower the TV or monitor and it doesn’t float or sink by itself.

Almost returned this, but...
I was going to return this because it had way too much tension for my tv, and it was hard to reduce, because there wasn't room to turn the set screw more than 1/4 turn at a time. But then I missed the return window, and re-visited this thing. Despite warnings to not reduce the tension before mounting the tv, that was the way to go - I had to back it way off. Now, however, I am pleased with this mount - there are very few mounts that give a vertical height adjustment, and that's what I needed in this particular situation. Now I'm glad I kept it!

Nice product but WAY TO EXPENSIVE NOW! Used to be 1/4 of the price
Update: The price of the product went up a lot from $15 to $25 to $39 and now $70+. I am not sure why? Same product, same shipping. No explanation. As a pro, never use the garbage screws or bolts that come with ANY mount. Always use your own LAG bolts you get at home center. Aside from that the bracket did exactly as it described and my client was very pleased. Mounted 55” Plasma TV over fireplace. Had to reinforce wall with plywood and then mounted bracket onto the plywood.Since price has changed dramatically it is cheaper to buy a gas spring tv mount at Walmart then it is to buy from amazon. I am finding that a lot!

Excellent but not perfect
I’ve had it in my RV since last year and have taken a 43” 30lb monitor across the country and back with it, no issues at all. I just wish the screen had more tilt and rotation because it sags a bit when fully extended facing either left or right and I can’t always get the screen exactly where I want it. I also can’t make it face either side 100% because the arm isnt long enough to clear my monitor. Better for screens left in permanent positions vs moving around daily

Make sure you read the instructions carefully.
It's definitely a good quality mount and well designed but takes a few moments for you to figure out the swivel motion. For the price, I say it's not too bad but feel like they could have been a bit clearer on the instructions regarding the tensions support for high and low elevations. It took me about an hour to figure it all out.I mounted a 49" Sony Bravia 4k TV which weight about 45lbs. and has no issues whatsoever. Happy with purchase.Edit 1: I have now been using it for almost 2 months and feel it is still holding up but am now hearing squeaks as I turn it at different angles. It’s also getting a bit tighter to turn almost as if it needs more grease or oil. I would knock down 2 stars now. 1 Star for the noise and and another star for the price going up by $20 from its original $50 price. It was already fair priced but now feel it’s too pricey for what you’re getting.

cool cheap tv mount
for how cheap it is you can't complain! was cheaper than the ones they have for the smaller monitors which was odd to me. really love how you can adjust the tv up or down which most tv mounts are able to do so this one gives you a lot more customization once you mount it on the wall. its very strong and I would suggest mounting a little lower that you would normally because at the lowest setting I still want to go lower but all I can go is up lol

It’s alright...
It’s ok. It’s seems alright but I have a few issues.1. The biggest problem I had is that the mounting lag screws are totally garbage. 2 out of 3 snapped when I was screwing them in. This was just using a ryobi cordless drill into wooden studs - so nothing too crazy that you would think the screws would snap off in the wall... luckily I had some higher quality spares around that I could use, but I couldn’t get the broken pieces out of the wall so I had to change where I was mounting my TV and drill all new pilot holes.2. The cable clips are constantly falling off. Every time you move the arm they fall. They seem like they would fall if you sneezed in their direction. That’s annoying.3. It was damn near inpossible to access the tension tightening nut, as some others have pointed out. I could barely angle the tool in there and get about 1/100th of a turn at a time. I had to work on it this way for 15-20 minutes until I was able to get the tension loose enough where I could pull the arm away and uncover the tension adjustment bolt enough to access it properly.4. The directions are really poor. For instance, the manual says that to loosen the tension you need to turn the adjustment bolt “anti-clockwise” to loosen and clockwise to tighten, but shows a diagram where you turn it clockwise to loosen and counter-clockwise to tighten. This was particularly vexing when I could only turn the bolt 1/100th of a rotation at a time, so I spent a while laboring to turn the bolt the wrong way before I figured it out.For the record - you turn it clockwise to loosen...Despite all of that - the thing seems bulletproof and the majority of the components seem high quality. I was legitimately hanging on it and it could hold me so I have no doubts about it holding a heavy TV.
