Works great for melting wax. I ended up buying a second one so I can alternate colors and make two toned seals. Heats up quickly, no more anxiety about knocking over a candle. Stable and easy to clean. Just wipe up any spilled wax with a paper towel while still warm. The tweezers are nice for grabbing one wax bead at a time when refilling, especially if you have one of those kits with random mixed colors, and you want to pick specific beads. Like this very much, and would buy again (if I didn't already own two)!

I highly recommend this kit. It is perfect for heating wax for sealing cards. It is easy to use, and heats up fairly quickly too. You won't regret it!

I'm pretty happy with this wax melter that comes with spoon and tweezers. It's a sturdy, compact, cute device. It's small size is good for travel and easy storage. Not sure why all the complaints and pics about messiness; that's an operator issue, not a device problem. It was very easy to use and very easy to be tidy about it. Spoon cleans up easy with q-tips, cotton ball or papertowel. 4-5 beads will melt in just under 3mins. The exterior casing gets warm but not enough to burn someone. At under $8 it's a great value. I took off one star because it's not UL tested; a device with a heating element should absolutely be UL certified so don't leave this plugged in when not in use and never leave it unattended while turned on. Other than that i recommend it. SEE PICS
