My Havanese pup recently had her own little Hava-Chi puppy babies In October. She only birthed 2 . I found this to be a great value for the money. why ? Because I could mix only what I needed for the growing (NO WASTED CANS) pups and at proper consistency for introducing them slowly to solids . They loved the smell and the taste because they took right to it and continues to use it. Bully Max ingredients are high quality fats for brain development and energy in growing small breed puppies- Thanks Bully Max for making this easy for me !

I wanted to love this puppy food. It's extremely convenient to use and takes up little shelf space. I love the fact that it's low heat cooked and dehydrated . One rehydrated it looks as palatable as any wet dog food. Unfortunately, my little chiweenie pup was not impressed. Even when mixed 1/4 to 3/4 new food to old, she wouldn't eat it. If the little picky princess would have eaten it, I would have rated this food a solid 5 stars.

Product looks nothing like the pictures after hydrated, which was my first concern. I expected to see some re-hydrated veggies like in the pictures. My frenchie didn't really care for it and it gave him diarrhea, bad. I mixed it with his kibble because I know it's not good on a puppy's tummy to suddenly change foods. Because the product is non refundable, even though I have two unopened bags, I tried mixing small amounts in my older dogs food and all 3 of them had diarrhea the next day. Needless to say, I will not be feeding any more of it to my dogs.
