Excellent replacement for my worn and broken pressure pump. It took me about 15 minutes to replace and start using it right away. I have not adjusted the pressure as it was fine for me out of the box. I like that it came with a new suction hose for adding solution as my old one was quite worn and dirty. This pump is actually smaller than the original which makes it quite a bit lighter and easier to move around as well. An excellent value which saved me the cost of purchasing a new pressure washer.

Needed a part for the pump on my older DeVilbliss (sp?) Excell 2500 pressure washer from Home Depot. (No idea how old it is). Couldn't find the part, no longer made I guess. Looked online and through a thread on Reddit, saw this replacement pump. Honda engine is fine, just bad pump, and this is cheaper than a new pressure washer, so, Figured I would give it a try. Pump arrived quickly, and was packed well. Very simple install. (But there are videos of how to do it if needed). Best part is the shaft keystock is included, so that is very helpful. Haven't been able to test it out yet, but very good initial impressions. Will definitely log on and change my review if needed, but if you need a pump (or parts to fix your pump that you can no longer get), this is a great option vs a completely new pressure washer. Update - finally ran the pressure washer with new pump - was great!! Seems to have all the pressure that the pump had when new, and no complaints at all. For having to replace the entire pump just for a faulty part, a bit expensive.... but so much cheaper than a complete new pressure washer! Definitely worth the purchase and happy with it.

Brought my Excell 2600 Honda pressure washer back to life. Recently my pressure washer had been losing pressure intermittently during use and I knew the pump was going out. I contemplated getting a new pressure washer with a higher pressure rating but my Honda engine is in great condition and only needed a pump. Found this pump here on Amazon as a replacement and since the majority of the reviews were good I figured I give it a shot. Pump was easy to install had it swapped out in less than 30 minutes. I reused the old bolts to be sure they were the correct thread pitch. Saw a review where the reviewer was unaware that the fitting on the engine shaft had to be removed, if you have an Excell washer this is removed and the included shaft key is used to connect the engine shaft and pump together. My washer was running a bit rough from sitting for awhile and had stalled a few times, a simple carb cleaning stopped the stalling and this new pump has brought her back to life. Works great and has plenty of pressure. The pressure was a bit weaker than my last pump out of the box, but a quarter turn to the unloader valve made a huge difference. You need a 10mm and a 17mm wrench to adjust the unloader, marking the unloader and the pump with a permanent marker will help you visualize the turn. This turned out to be a very affordable repair.

Was missing the the proper fitting to complete the hose installation. Other than that the pump works perfectly. The fitting that was missing is only available in a specific store because of it’s size 5/8 pipe thread which is not available in your local box store. Box stores jump from 1/2” to 3/4” .

I have a Honda Excell 2600 pressure washer and the water pump busted on me while doing some pressure washing around the house. I ended up taking it apart and tried fixing the situation, but the longer I worked on it the worse the situation got. The screws on these machine are made so you don’t take them off, “I said that to myself”. I was frustrated and was about to through it out because they no longer make the water pump for this model. It was until I found this replacement part and gave it the least chance before going to the garbage. Well thank God and for making me persistent I bought the replacement part and gave it one last try. This part was the perfect fit and easy to install. Thank God I was able to revive this old pressure washer and didn’t have to spend a lot of money on doing it. Thank you for the replacement part I now have what I call a new pressure washing machine. I recommend this if you have a pressure washer that this piece can fit into. Don’t give up in life when things get though get tougher and make it happen. Thank you Nelson

I bought this pump hoping that I could resurrect my Honda Excel 2500 pressure washer. The old pump was shot, but the Honda engine is bulletproof. So, I took a chance after viewing some excellent videos on YouTube regarding replacing the pump. The only difficult part of the project was removing the gear from the engine driveshaft. Just use a good pry bar with some alternating pressure on each side of the driveshaft. A little PB Blaster is good, too. The pump mounts with only 4 bolts and a shaft key (included). Be sure to use some anti-seize compound on the key, driveshaft and bolts. I got everything tightened (do not over tighten as the engine block is aluminum and very soft) and then hooked up the garden hose. Fired up the engine and WOW! This pump is AWESOME! Much more powerful than the original pump which was rated at 2500 psi. I would say that this pump is cranking out 3000 to 3500 psi! Sure beats spending $400+ for a new pressure washer. Do not hesitate to buy this pump if your old Honda PW is now pooped out. This pump is a beast and you will love it. If you are not mechanically inclined, not to worry. Watch the YouTube videos on the Honda Excel pressure washer repair as they are great, however, the pump company listened to the reviewers as the driveshaft key and the PW hose Quick Connect are now included with the pump. All you have to do is remove the old pump and install the new pump. Four bolts out, and an Allen wrench to remove the driveshaft gear screw, and four bolts in is all the work required. Easy as pie!

Works Perfect! Easy install - make sure and measure the shaft diameter. Comes with the key for the shaft and new bolts and washers.

My old (2004) Honda EXCELL XR2600 stopped working but the Honda engine has always worked fine. I checked for repairs on Youtube and found this pump as solution. Everything fit easily, the key provided was just what I needed and the quick connect also threaded in without a problem. Good clear instructions came along, great to have. I have used it twice since for a couple of hours and it sprays better than the original pump that came on the powerwasher. Definitely recommend
