Perfect replacement e92
The quality of the case is spot on, comes with the rechargeable battery in its housing. Releasing the battery was straight forward using a soldiering iron to loosen the solder. I move the motherboard into my new key and pressed the casing together. Fairly easy to do. Just take your time. Key works perfectly

Happy with it
Good quality plastic, that was my only worry, I just soldered the new battery on the old pcb and popped it inside the key. Perfect fit.

Saved my car key with this handy kit.
Does the job perfectly. My spare key had died and the case was falling apart. Soldered in the new battery, put it in the new case and swapped the mechanical key over. Job done!

Needed a bit of tinkering
The case it self is great, but the contact on the replacement battery wasn’t great, I think as I bent the battery frame a bit. I needed to place some electrical tape under the battery to pad it out to ensure there was a sufficient fit and contact

Worked as a perfect replacement for my dead key fob - BMW 330d E90

BATTERY MAY NEED CHARGING
The old remote needs cutting very carefully around the edge to break the seal with a sharp knife. Solder the new battery onto the original circuit board. THE REMOTE MAY NOT WORK WHEN YOU TRY IT BECAUSE THE BATTERY MAYBE FLAT. Open the car and insert the new remote into the ignition slot and start the car. Run the car for approximately 10 minutes. There should be enough charge in the new remote to lock the car. Use the new remote for a while to make sure it fully charges but keep your old remote with you incase it’s not fully charged.
