Best resource
I love this book! I use it all the time! It is such a great resources for teaching students with special needs and for teaching ELL students. There is a ton of information and advice on how to work with the students. It is similar to a teacher guide, but way better and really helps you understand the concepts you will be teaching your students. I highly recommend this book.

If You Could Buy Just One Book, Buy This!
When I worked at the Colorado Department of Education, we bought this book for scores of teachers in the schools where we were working. It contains over 800 pages of information focused on research-based practices for teaching literacy skills. The text is well written and there are literally hundreds of ideas for instructional activities in the book. This is an absolute "must read."
