I think I put about 30 or more pairs of jeans and dress pants in the XL bag and used my vacuum to suck the air out. It must weigh 25 pounds now! I'll have my closet cleaned out in no time! The press and lock seal is like a zip lock bag, it takes a good amount of time and pressure to seal it closed but the outcome is totally worth it. Use a vacuum rather than the pump provided otherwise you are going to be there a while.

The media could not be loaded.  I am very, very late to the game of Space Saver bags. So I apologize in advance for any worn out references that may seem like old news to you. But I am truly a newbie and I am excited to review this product with fresh eyes. So for the sake of my lack of being able to think in a straight line, here are my thoughts and experiences in list form.**** ETA : I keep saying that the lid on the vacuum portal doesn't screw on - Oh my it actually DOES. And it help stop leakage. !!!1. There are not a lot of instructions: and there should be at least "more". How am I supposed to know the difference between a travel bag and a vacuum bag? I thought they both used the vacuum - but they don't.2. Have to read to know that the white clips are the actual closures that make the seal tight! I know, reading is hard for some of us but I spent 10 minutes rolling my thumb down the tracks to get the bags to seal. This piece is invaluable (don't toss it).3. The hand pump is a serious joke - or seriously should be.4. You can't use Dysons. At least not the ones that have something sticking out from the nozzle (see video).5. The seal is great but you should help it out by bouncing your weight on it while sucking out the air with vacuum.6. If you don't travel much, this purchase will have a few bags that got wasted.(video coming shortly)

They don't hold there seal

These work really well in removing air and consolidating bulky items. They even work on sleeping bags! I would recommend them and would buy them again.

Great product! Definitely a space saver to store winter clothes.

So far, I'm thrilled. Great variety in sizes. Easy to use with vacuum. I'm hoping these are better than the other 2 brands I've tried.

Getting the bags sealed before vacuuming the air out is extremely difficult. You have to have super human hand strength to get the zip parts sealed. I sealed and vacuumed a few times and would find it inflated because the seals weren't done well enough. Now! Once I got the seals done right and the air vacuumed out it would works amazing. I mean super flat and two bags took up almost no space. If you have hand problems then you'll need to get someone else to seal it for you. But otherwise, once it is done right the bags are amazing.

Durable and actually stayed closed. Even during a move!!
