I’ve been buying slippery elm for some time now and it has really helped me to calm my stomach issues. It’s calming and soothing. Sometimes I sniff a little up my nose when I have sinusitis and it clears my sinuses. I think it’s good quality and forms a gel as described. It tastes earthy which I don’t particularly like. I would recommend this.

Not a fan of this compared to other slippery elm powder I've bought before. I don't understand how a single, natural ingredient can be so different from other brands selling the same item. Mixed with water I expect slippery elm powder to be gooey, kinda gungey, and have little taste. This powder doesn't create that gooiness when mixed with water and turns the water reddish which is really odd, I've never seen slippery elm change colour before. It has a slightly sour taste to it. Usually when I drink cold brewed slippery elm I feel the soothing effect in my throat immediately and it also soothes an upset stomach. I didn't find that to be the case with this powder and so I can't recommend it and won't be buying it again.

I am taking this Slippery Elm Powder for my silent reflux and am gradually feeling the positive difference in my digestion. It’s early days but since making a drink with it at night before bed and in the morning before breakfast it’s certainly helping me and will continue til it’s empty. Although expensive if it helps with one’s health it’s worth it. I add a touch of cinnamon to it which gives a mild acceptable flavour to the palate

Not sure this is the real deal… Have been looking for slippery elm powder to mar a gel for my kitty with tummy troubles. This seemed to have good reviews, however I am doubtful this is the product as stated on the packaging. No matter how I mix and heat it, it does not form a gel. I have tried all the methods and recipes available (changing mix quantities etc, and no matter what, this just will not form a gel! This would suggest it is perhaps the outer, not the inner bark. This is very disappointing as this was one of the more expensive options! If anyone finds a slippery elm that actually forms a gel, please let me know!

Freat value for money. Bought for a family member with gut issues, seems to be doing the job but only time will tell. For all appearance seems a quality item, arrived on time and well packaged.

like the root, not sure about the leaves. I don't mind the taste of the root, the leaf is not as good, makes it very bitter
