Fragrant and a wonderful addition to my curries

I bought these cinnamon sticks to use in home aroma, as well as drinks I bought these cinnamon sticks actual sticks because they look better and are generally a real cinnamon, verses what you may or may not get in a powder. As soon as I saw the inside of the container, I knew, this product was not the high quality product it is described in the product description. I opened the vacuum seal container and I was shocked, I couldn’t smell a thing. I preceded to take a few sticks out, only to find that the sticks, were broken pieces of cinnamon. I had 3 full cinnamon sticks, out of the entire bottle. They were all broken and useless for any drinks I planned to use them in. However, I also wanted to use them as home aroma. So I thought, no big deal if they don’t look pretty Well, much to my disappointment, they had “0” aroma. I mean, zero!! So I thought I would heat them on the stove with a little bit of water. Surely, there would be a nice cinnamon aroma from that. Sadly. I couldn’t even get a HINT of any cinnamon in the air. And that’s me, standing over the pan with the boiling water and 1/2 the bottle if cinnamon. So, I think you can guess if I would recommend this brand of cinnamon sticks. That is an ABSOLUTE NO!! Although I have no progg, my opinion is, these sticks are extremely old. They definitely have “0” cinnamon aroma. I opened my container of powdered cinnamon, and can smell it from across the room. This is a horrible excuse for cinnamon sticks. I am disappointed because I needed them for the holidays. Now I have to find a different brand that is what I was looking for in the beginning. Value for the money.? If you like throwing your money into the trash can, this is for you. If you don’t like throwing your money in the trash, find a different product, different brand , DEFINITELY!! Shame on this company. Selling something they KNOW, is junk. I hope this helps. I hope it saves y’all from wasting your time and $.
