I should have bought these girls as a full set from the get go, but I bit the bullet and bought two of them on separate occasions. I love them a lot. They can't stand in their own due to the tails, but they do look wonderful once you have them on stands. They come with dresses,, extra hip fins, a bra (with stickies), a card, and extra sets of hands. The tails are wonderfully detailed, the faces are well painted and adorable. The dresses are gorgeously detailed and sewn very well. Planning on buying more in the future and just biting the bullet with a whole set. The size, durability, quality, and possibility is well worth the money for these girls for any mermaid and doll collector. Careful with young children as there are pieces that are easy to swallow

I have never owned a ball-jointed doll before, and this was a great introduction! I received the pink mermaid, "Shimmer," which was luckily the one I wanted. There's good articulation, and the painted details are wonderful. She's so "Barbie"-core! Her clothes are lovely, but note that there isn't room for the shells or the removable upper tail fins to go underneath, so you'll have to choose what look you want. I prefer the dress--though if you prefer the shells, they do provide different stickies so you can redo them a few times. I will say that on "Shimmer," her cute pigtails get in the way of her dress' bead straps, so I feel like I have to be very gentle when I turn her head, maneuvering it carefully around the delicate beads. I read another review saying that their "Shimmer" dress broke, and I believe them. The dress is beautiful and intricate, but it barely fits over her chest. I would say this bjd doll is best for older kids or adult collectors; it's not intended for young ones or those who can't care for their trinkets gently. Also, she'd probably be better posable with a stand.

this brand always makes gorgeous quality dolls for a good price. compare their price to other adjustable/articulated barbie type dolls. i never regret buying a doll from beemai. the paint is perfect, in my video it looks like there's a mark on the face of mine but it just wiped right off. all the pieces fit together snugly. i love that they always give 3 sets of hands. it's fun swapping between them to refresh her look. this would be an amazing gift for the mermaid lover in your life as every design is gorgeous. not suitable for young children that can choke on tiny parts. if i have one complaint it's that the side fins constantly fall out, but i can just put museum putty inside of the peg.

I'm so absolutely obsessed with these dolls, they are such high quality with gorgeous details, I've never had a BJD before and they have shown me my love for them!! I love posing them in different places, they look so sticking cute anywhere!! Fine details, and worth every penny!

These are really gorgeous dolls, great quality and size for the cost. The only issue is of the 2 I boguht one came with the wrong doll on the display card they come with. Not so bad though. They are very adorable and I like the option to do either classic mermaid with just the shell bra or the elegant dress. Difficult to display seated tho, but I don't have any prior experience with mermaid dolls!

This mermaid is stunning! I had wanted one of these blind boxes for a while. I had a love for bjds last year, and then I wanted to start a hobby! I didn't get one for a while, then Santa plopped it on my fireplace! I was so excited and thrilled. When I unboxed it, I was surprised to see that I had gotten Leaf! Any of them were fine, really. When I looked at the options, I loved every single one. I think the transparency of her tail is luscious. She truly is a beautiful doll. Leaf's eyes are green, and they are hand-painted. Unlike most bjds, these mermaids have a strong stability in their head. They're able to hold up poses phenomenally. Only one beef that I have with this doll are her fins. I love them, I think they're really pretty; but, yet again, they fall out easily. I'll try to keep them in, but they always end up on the ground. Also, I absolutely thought the tail was excellent. However, I wish that the poses might hold and not fall back into a straight tail form. Other than that, I loved this doll and will most definitely be purchasing more! I completely recommend this for any collector! I would love to collect the entire set! I love fantasy and bjds, this is both! I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!

The doll is adorable and by itself is fine, the extra little plastic pieces fit without much fuss, but the box came rather beat up and the clothes that came with it don’t fit. When I tried to pull the dress over the arms the strap broke right away and spilled the little beads everywhere.

Beautiful. Adult daughters love them.
