Beautiful lift and colour – a fun twist on a classic mascara!
I absolutely love the Maybelline Sky High range, and the Burgundy Haze shade is such a gorgeous change from standard black. It subtly enhances my lashes with a hint of deep plum, which makes green and hazel eyes really pop.The formula is flake-free and doesn’t smudge throughout the day, and the flexible brush makes application super easy — it catches every lash without clumping. It gives great length and volume without feeling heavy.Perfect if you want something a bit different but still wearable day-to-day. Will definitely repurchase!

Great mascara but no hygiene seal??
Love this mascara. Got other shades from elsewhere. Best price on here. This Arrived with no plastic seal on to protect from tampering…… Won’t let me return …would have to go through Max factor… just so your aware…. Ugh…

Everything you want and more
Love this mascara, works perfectly, lasts ages without drying out, the brush is flexible and small so its easy to get into corners, adds loads of volume and length, and the colours really make eye colour pop. I own this mascara in three colours already, this one is my favourite but they are all amazing. I want more!

Severe allergic reaction causing eye infection in both eyes: BURGUNDY HAZE ONLY (black & brown ok)
Firstly this particular Burgundy Haze Mascara product arrived unsealed.I stupidly used it and got an infection (or so I thought) in both eyes within a couple of hours. I told myself "oh well, that's my own fault for using an unsealed product" and threw it away.However I then bought a [fully sealed & shrinkwrapped] replacement from Boots a couple of weeks later and used it - I again got a very severe conjuctival reaction but I thought perhaps that my eyes hadn't cleared up properly from the previous tube and so threw the new mascara away and waited for my eyes to clear up using antiobiotic eye drops again etc.A full 2 Months later I bought another brand-new tube of the Burgundy Haze from Superdrug and applied it at 08h30 in the morning. My eyes started itching an hour or so later and by 12h30 I had a severe reaction in both eyes, cloudy vision from pus/infection, and I had to wash all the mascara off and apply antihistamine and antibiotic eyedrops.I have used the black and the brown-black versions of this mascara for years with absolutely no issues, so clearly it's whatever is being used to create the Burgundy pigment that is causing an allergic reaction. Some googling and research on make-up forums on Reddit and Facebook have shared similar stories.My review applies to the Burgundy Haze colour only!EDIT Late Oct 2024: After follow-up reviews with my opthamologist in consultation with Moorfields , due to persistent ongoing blurry vision and irritation over 6 weeks since the last incident, it is more than likely the CARMINE in it that icaused the very severe allergic reactions each time (made from crushed beetles apparently! ).I have also got trauma to the inside of my eyelids that will take up to 3 months to heal properly, and will probably be on long-term eyedrop use as a result , so please be careful if you have sensitive eyes anyway.

This mascara really delivers—lifts and lengthens without clumping, and gives my lashes that fluttery, wide-eyed look. The best part? It totally compliments my hazel-green eyes, making them pop even more.Lightweight, buildable, and definitely a new fave in my makeup bag!

Product seems fine but I’m a bit disappointed that there was no security seal in the mascara to prove it wasn’t used/tampered with before. It’s just something I am used to on beauty products now. But the mascara seems fine. I’ve used this colour before and it really makes the blue eyes pop

Lovely mascara for blue eyes!
I love the Sky High mascaras and this colour is just lovely!I have blue eyes and this burgundy colour is very flattering. It is quite subtle so it doesn't look like you have red eyes, and it is also everso slightly frosted, which is gorgeous in the sunshine!It doesn't upset my very sensitive eyes, and I am on my second or third tube of this now. I repurchase every 3 months, as recommended for mascara use, and I use the subscribe feature to make sure I'm not using an out-of-date product

Use the Burgundy shade to make blue or hazel eyes pop! Perfect for a softer day look, or a brown smokey eye. For best results, hold brush against lashes, wiggle at root and sweep through to tip. Apply second coat when semi-dry for even more extended length!
