High Quality Tubular Latch, Mortice Latch, Door Latch. I bought some latches a while ago from a big well known DIY store, The latch didn't last as long as it should and I needed another one as well, the original ones in the doors were more of a hexagonal shape. The ones from the DIY store were rectangular tube and I had to cut out wood to get them to fit. After a lot of searching I found these which are a more circular tube. I popped it in straight away. It fitted so easily I double checked a rectangular one in it and no way would it fit without modifying the hole. Saved me a bit of work chiseling out the hole in the door. 5 in the pack so I am ready for any more of the 25 year old plus latches to break. Plus, if you are installing these in new doors, and I might be replacing mine soon, you can drill a hole and these will go right in, no chisel required. The door handle seems to not need to be pulled down as much as before either.

Good quality and seem well made. They are slightly larger and longer than the ones I was replacing so the holes needed to be drilled out. Apart from that, I am well pleased with them. Cheap too, in comparison to others.

I need to replace a couple of latches on internal doors. The doors are fairly new and it looks like the ‘carpenter’ who hung them re used the old latches. They are oval, not rectangular like the more recent ones. These are perfect for my needs and saved me having to do any re cutting to fit them. I took the old one out and the new one went straight in and works perfectly with no bother. I decided to replace the striker plate (that’s probably not the right word but it’s the piece on the doorframe that the latch fits into). That required a slight tweak but only took two minutes and finished the job perfectly. Happy.

Slightly bigger in diameter body than my original, so had to hollow out more for it to fit, Throw away the screws that come with it, don't use them as they are not brass, there some cheap knock off that has snapped easily in the door frame, Have to try and dig this one out somehow unsure why they would include them I would buy again to be fair Hence title

I ORDERED THESE BECAUSE I HAD TO RENEW A COUPLE OF DOOR LATCHES DUE TO GRAND CHILDREN USING THEM AS SWINGS. THEY WERE A PERFECT FIT AND I DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE DOORS. THEY MATCHED ALL THE EXISTING DOORS SO THERE WAS NO FIDDLING ABOUT. WELL PRICED AND WELL PACKAGED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
