Fabulous small pillow with excellent head & neck support.
I'm really pleased with this travel-sized pillow! Thought the memory foam would be too soft and squish down flat when I lay my head on the edge (side-sleeper), but that hasn't been the case at all. The foam is soft and very comfortable for my face & head; it does give a bit so it's not at all too rigid, but still holds my head up well and cradles my neck comfortably, too. I've had neck pain when sleeping ever since a hit-and-run car collision a few years ago; this is the first pillow that keeps its shape on the sides so that it completely cushions my head and neck in the correct straight angle, not flattening out with the weight of my head the way too many memory foam pillows do.I bought the travel size pillow for taking with me everywhere we travel rather than hauling about my regular-size pillow. And guess what: Now I use this travel pillow at home, too! Because I *love* that it's only 15 1/2 " inches long. With regular size contoured pillows (23"x14") I'm always shoving it over to lay my head on the edge (side-sleeper) when I turn over from one shoulder to the other as I sleep. I have to scoot over a foot or two to get to the other edge of that regular-sized contoured pillow. This one is so short that it can stay put as I turn onto the other shoulder. It's fabulous! Also: This pillow came in 3 layers, trimmed so that each layer is nestled together and will never slip as it might if they were 3 straight-cut layers. I've kept that inner layer in so that the pillow is at its maximum height of nearly 5" on the larger wedge, which when it sinks in just a bit is perfect support for my neck.I bought some travel-size pillow cases too (12"x16"), but found out quickly that there's no way this pillow fits in that small size case even though the pillow is approximately 11"x15". Those true "travel size" cases are for *flat* pillows with little depth to them. Since this contoured pillow adds it nearly 5" in depth, I just bought "toddler-size" pillow cases (13"x18"), so hopefully it'll be big enough for the extra depth of this fabulous pillow. I'll update this review for the toddler pillow cases when they arrive.

The perfect pillow
With a lot of back problems I have to lay down in a certain position, so I needed a good pillow. For the last 5 yrs I have been looking for the perfect one, spend lots of money with no luck. I saw the reviews about these pillow and I said to myself nothing to lose let's see what happened..And...eureka!! These is the one pillow I've been waiting for... I tried it for a week to write a review. No more shoulder pain, neck painI sleep like a baby. And no I didn't get pay for writing a review, this is an honest review for consumers like me.Thank you for such a great product.

Nice pillow with a strong smell
Update: January 13, I had to remove another part because it felt too high, now I feel fine, I was able to relieve my neck pain with this and the help of the Tens 7000. I recommend it.The pillow is comfortable, but I had to remove the center part to make it more to my liking, because it felt too high, and it still feels high, but I'll have to get used to it. The pillow arrived with a strong smell, the same one that many have complained about. My solution was to let it air out for a few days so the smell would go away, take it apart and put it outside, which made it much better. The advantage is that in my country we have a pleasant climate of 26° that allows the strong smell to go away quickly. What I like most is that the pillow can be taken apart.

Similar to the eco-luxury, on-trend, Eucalyptus Lyocell encased options on the market.
This is the better of the three memory foam pillows that I purchased. I purchased another pillow from a seller on Amazon that was a completely different type of pillow (even though it is also made of “memory foam”, it is shredded and not a “contour” pillow. I purchased a different contour pillow from Macy’s and they sent me the wrong product; I had intended for this pillow (the one that I am reviewing) to be my contour pillow, and the pillow from Macy’s was not supposed to be contoured, but they sent me the contour pillow anyway—so now I have that contour pillow to compare this one to. That pillow is smaller, and even though it is advertised as being “oversized”, it is too small for (it does not fill) my standard size pillowcases); thus, the pillowcase slips off. The pillow from Macy’s was listed with the retail price of $139; however, the one that they sent me (that I purchased for $23, so it was supposedly a Black Friday super markdown “deal”) and I found the same pillow on Amazon for $23, at $89 retail (so I am assuming that Amazon is correctly listing the suggested retail price, whereas Macy’s inflated the retail price in order to give the impression that it was a “crazy good deal” or that it was a “bargain that could not be refused” for potential buyers and window-shoppers during the Black Friday and “cyber Monday” season of consuming. This pillow (the one that I am reviewing) is far superior to the one that I had gotten “such an amazing deal on” from the Macy’s Black Friday sale. It is similar in its design, but larger and slightly firmer (it feels higher quality, like it will last longer; and it also stays just as cool as any memory foam pillow I have ever tried (including the “high end” brand makes and models, even those that boast being exclusively made of Eucalyptus Lyocell, those sold by or marketed alongside the hipster-chic and “eco-conscious”, “humanely” or “ethically manufactured” (that claim to be, and hopefully that actually are, but advertising copy can sometimes mislead—even when coming from these supposedly ethical (and certainly upscale) brands. This memory foam contour pillow (the one that I am reviewing) feels as good as Eucalyptus lyocell (it is made of rayon; this pillow is—viscose from bamboo, it is the same process being done to bamboo as is done to Eucalyptus to make the pulp that is viscose that makes rayon—so it does feel the same; it is just that the sustainability factor is not really discussed at all by brands that do not appeal strongly to the eco-chic upscale consumer bracket. I give this pillow a five-star rating in all categories in this review, because it is better than I expected; it is what it is (what it says it ys) and it does not claim to be ethical, sustainable, or revolutionary in terms of its place on the spectrum of memory foam pillows to try. It does not make the claim that this is “healthy” memory foam (there really is no such thing, considering what memory foam actually is). This is a decent pillow. It “sleeps cool” and is good for sleeping with spinal alignment issues, in my experience.
