Haemmerlin 1041G Original Green 90 L Wheelbarrow with Pneumatic Tyre

I've spent weeks looking for wheelbarrow online. I wanted something decent like what we used to use on our farm. The wheelbarrows my parent have are old over 30 years old and still in good condition. I am from a European country and have to say if I could I would buy them there as they are a lot more hard wearing then over here but postage or any other transport it's just too expensive. The biggest problem with wheelbarrows in the UK is that they have got short handle bars, nothing more annoying then kicking the wheelbarrow whilst pushing it. Another minus point is the overall build quality. So I decided to buy this one. It is one of the most expensive. It looked good online and matched my expectations. I received it within a few days of ordering. It looked good, its light. Build quality is good but not as good as I expected as they are advertised as European style. The tyre is not the traditional tractor tyre but almost smooth, with thin tread. It has got large pan ,wide handle bars but not as long as I wanted them to be but still OK. The sad thing is that I could not find better one. Maybe I am just to fussy , I like things that last ages not a couple of years and I do not mind to pay for it but there is no choice.

Wonderful strong wheelbarrow - very pleased

I have always used wheelbarrows made by Haemmerlin and wouldn’t dream of buying any other brand. They are very strong, come ready assembled and easy to wheel around the garden. A sturdy deep pan for loading garden rubbish and equally lots of space to move plants etc around the garden.

Good quality but did arrive damaged. Partial refund was offered as result. Great colour

All good with this sturdy wheelbarrow, the only niggle is that it was delivered with a small ding in the body.

Great well balanced wheelbarrow. It appears to be well made so I expect it to serve me a good while.

The Haemmerlin wheelbarrow I was sent looks like a new barrow (though all scratched up in transit) but the damaged handles definitely look pre-used, as opposed to damaged in transit: scuffed and down to the bare metal on the left handle as you see. As as result it was not easy to manoeuvre or feeling as stable. This had seemed like the best barrow out there, but certainly that is not the case for this jumble sale item. The seller then says ensure item is unused and not damaged for a full refund!!! They ask me to return in the original packaging - but there was not any. It came completely bare, not a single item of protection on it, just the address selophaned to the body of the item. This thing cost £130!!!

Took three weeks to arrive (as specified) but well worth the wait. This will always be the best Wheelbarrow to buy. put it to use immediately. Used my last one for business & home for 20 years & then took it abroad to build a house - it finally became too beaten up to be practical although it still functioned mechanically well.
