Great fan, pricy but way cheaper than buying a whole new laptop!
My laptop fans stopped working and since it is a few years old no spare fans available in the market. (awesome *sarcasm* to see planned obsolescence working great). My only option was to go for a new laptop until a friend suggested cooling pads devices like this llano one. After viewing various reviews of various devices, this llano fan came up consistently as best recommended. If you can swallow the large price tag it is definitely worth the investment. I previously had a cheaper (2000 Rupee) fan of another brand which worked so so for a year before it too died. This one however with its variable fan speed is superb and cools down my laptop beautifully. Starts from 300 rpm which is near silent to a max of 2800 rpm which makes it sound like a blow dryer. But I don't mind that since I use noise cancelling headphones when I game which the only time I use the max speed. For regular use I keep it at 700 rpm which make it just about audible but still much softer than my ceiling fan. The LED lighting is gimmcky for my personal taste but it excites my little child so that's that. Overall I'm very happy with this llano fan. Definitely not cheap. But cheaper than a new laptop for sure!

Pricey but fantastic product
Its expensive but worth the investment especially if you primarily use a laptop for heavy work or gaming. The temperature difference is 10 degrees on load for me and the added benefit is a practically dust free laptop due to the filter the cooler has. After 7 months of heavy use I opened the laptop last week to clean and remove dust and to my surprise there was hardly any! The build quality is superb and it has given me 0 issues so far. Highly recommended if budget allows and you're looking to make a longterm investment in laptop cooling once and for all.

It's not another gimmick, it works as intended
I purchased the Ilano V12 cooling pad primarily for my HP Omen 16 laptop with an AMD processor, as my CPU temperatures would spike to 95°C during intensive gaming. After using this cooling pad, I’m seeing a significant temperature drop of around 10-15°C, which is impressive. On max fan speed (2800 RPM), my CPU temps now stay around 50-60°C, though the fan noise is noticeable. However, at 1800 RPM, which is quieter, I still get a stable 60-65°C, which works well for me. The build quality is plastic, but it feels premium and is very lightweight. While ₹15,000 is quite expensive for a cooling pad, I consider it a worthwhile investment for prolonging my laptop’s lifespan. So far, it’s performing as intended, and I have no regrets. I will update this review after prolonged use.

Delivered 7 days eariler than estimated time.
My Legion 7i 5080 Laptop runs at 0 degrees now. Jokes aside, best investment for a high end gaming laptop to increase lifespan, plus matching with the RGB lights in the laptop.

Great product deliveres on what it promises.
I recently used a this laptop cooler for my device, which tends to heat up quickly, and I highly recommend it for anyone facing similar issues. After using the cooler, I observed a significant drop in temperature, ranging from 8-10 degrees Celsius. The product is well-built, and the quality is impressive. Given the performance and durability, I find the price to be fully justified.

The Llano RGB Laptop Cooling Pad is an undeniably powerful piece of equipment, and it lives up to its promise of significant cooling for gaming laptops. However, it's crucial to understand that "powerful" here often equates to "loud" at its highest settings. This is a bulky unit, designed to deliver serious airflow, and its maximum cooling performance definitely comes with a considerable amount of noise. You'll want some good noise-cancelling headphones if you plan to push it to its limits. I personally use this with my 16-inch Lenovo Legion 7i, and it's a perfect fit for the cooler's generous top surface. It does an excellent job of keeping the laptop cool, which is vital for reducing the strain on the laptop's internal fans and, perhaps more importantly, preventing dust from being sucked up into the bottom vents and clogging the system. In my opinion, dust accumulation is one of the biggest long-term cooling problems for gaming laptops, and the Llano's "air chamber" design seems particularly effective at mitigating this. When I'm gaming, I typically find my sweet spot between 300-600 RPM. This range provides a great balance of effective airflow without the fan drowning out the game's audio. At these speeds, the sound is not unpleasant and is easily negligible over game speakers – my partner and I barely notice it. This makes it comfortable for extended gaming sessions without needing headphones purely for noise mitigation. Overall, while this is a pricier cooling pad, I believe it's absolutely worth the investment if you're looking for something truly efficient. The unique "air chamber" design ensures more air is directed through your laptop's cooling system, leading to genuinely lower temperatures and helping to prevent dust ingress. Just be aware that its size makes it less than portable – this is a cooling pad designed for a dedicated desk setup, not for throwing in a backpack. For the serious gamer or power user who values sustained performance and laptop longevity at home, the Llano RGB is a perfect, albeit stationary, companion.

My GPU was always at 90 degrees while rendering. Now it's at 66 degrees. But it comes with a price, noise. But you will find the point at regulating the fan intensity, you will not use it at full power all the time, I mean, what if my GPU is at 72 degrees instead of 66 degrees? I have tried many cooler pads, even the small exhaust on the side of the laptop, but nothing really worked. This does. I TOTALLY recommend it. I have a ROG STRIX SCAR II and no need to fry more eggs on it...

Why did I get it? Working 12-14 hours with a gaming laptop (zephyrus duo 16, 6900hx + 3070ti) with that high pitched fan noise makes you go insane eventually. I despised the noise so much I was considering spending an extra 5k rebuilding my desktop tower system and throw my laptop into trash. Does it help reducing gaming laptop temperatures? Yes and no. Yes it does help cool the laptop better by creating a vortex of cool air blowing underneath the chassis, but unless you're in quiet/silent mode the temps don't drop at all. However, it prevents the chips from throttling and instead it unlocks the true TGP. Prior to getting this fan I was barely getting 150w of sustained TGP from cpu+GPU combo. Now I'm getting nearly 250w. Makes you wonder how scummy all those marketing material of laptop makers + Nvidia are that you need an additional fan just to get the advertised performance out of your machine. Raw GPU TGP before: barely reaching 100w as thermal throttling reached After: 130w easy with maximum boost reaching 148w Raw CPU TGP before: I never allowed it to go past 30w due to extreme fan noise of the laptop itself. After: I guess it can use 90w as advertised (Radeon iGPU disabled at system level so it's not even active, all that juice goes directly to CPU) Is it loud? So you can adjust the fan speed by 100rpm increments. Working in Browser + medium creativity tasks I set it to 300/400rpm and I don't even have to wear headphones anymore as the hum of this fan drowns the noise of laptop fan. For gaming, you definitely need a noise canceling headphone as the typhoon noise created by this fan exceeds any noise created by speakers. Was considering getting the Razer fan, but I'm glad I didn't. I'd throw money at razer's competition all day every day. Razer tax + their customer service don't deserve your hard earned money. Even though I bet you anything both of these fans are made in the same factory.
