Merrell Men's Moab 3 Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Excellent walking sneakers, great fit, comfortable, great style. I have been walking in these for in excess of 12 hours per days for the past 2 weeks, after a long while on the feet the ball f the foot starts to hurt, this is not a flaw with this sneakers, but with any shoes, even with the best padding, and I have tried many foot padding systems and its all the same. whether silicone, or expensive customized contoured soles.

There's a reason this is the Number One hiker. They are super comfortable yet supportive, light, and have great grip. I'm a life long avid hiker, and swear by Merrill's, the nearest typical competitor are the Keen's which are heavier, clunkier, and frankly rather precious these days with the message printing on the insoles and the overall crunchy granola attitude of the company. Just give us a sold, well made boot at a reasonable price..wait, Merrill does that. Highly recommended, get the waterproof version for added protection .

I like the shoe. Comfortable, good Vibram tread, thick padding in the tongue. BUT - it is sized smaller than most shoes. I usually wear a 9, but I had to return it and get a 9.5 for the right fit.

I've had these shoes for almost a year now and came back to right a review...that should tell you something! They've been great. Over the past year, I've put a lot of miles on them camping and around town. (They are a hiking shoe with a fairly rugged appearance; so my wife usually grimaces when I wear them around town.)The first week I had them was spent at Boy Scout camp in OK. They were good in the peak of summer heat & humidity. But they've really been at their best in wet weather. The waterproofing has kept my feet dry in rain, mud, and standing water.They have begun to show minor signs of normal wear and tear, but I'm not gentle on my shoes and could really stand to take better care of them. Overall, they're comfortable, fit true to size, and perform perfectly in all conditions. I highly recommend them.

I really love these shoes. They fit perfectly and were comfortable right out of the box. I appreciate that they are available in wide, as recommended by my podiatrist (his prescription shoes are expensive!). I have purchased North Face shoes for the past 20 years but recently they are cheaply made, which is why I tried Merrill. Was tempted to purchase another pair to stash away for my next shoe, thinking Merrill will eventually cut corners like most companies. Hopefully they stay committed to quality and reputation. Very happy I took a chance on the Merrill brand.Btw, although these are waterproof, I do not expect these to be leakproof. If I was concerned, I would have purchased the Gore Tex version of this shoe, which wasn't available on Amazon at the time.

Phenomenal Shoe. In my experience, they run a little small so I’d get at least a half size up of what you normally wear. Even if you don’t need a waterproof shoe, these are much more comfortable than the non waterproof shoes. I’ve gone out to get the mail or take out the garbage and come back into the house and forget I’m still wearing them. They really only need a couple miles in them to break in. This is my second pair, after hundreds of miles while driving for UPS, my first pair finally gave out. I absolutely Love these!
