The H.P. Lovecraft 6 Book Hardback Collection Set (Macrabre Tales, Stories of the Dreamlands, The Randolph Carter Tales,The Call of Cthulhu & Other Stories)

In the first book, not even a dozen pages in and I've already come across more than one typo, horrendous editing and a poem presented as a prose.

This is such a stunning box set and now has pride of place on bookshelf! I have always wanted a Lovecraft collection as they have been so influential. This one is perfect!

13 pages into the first book and there are multiple errors so far. That’s not counting a poem section where it is not formatted correctly, and it just all runs together with no breaks and lines like gibberish. I would never have gotten this if I knew it was “in association with Wilco Publishing House: Mumbai, India”. The worst books I have ever had for errors (and even 3 times a whole section was missing mid sentence and it jumped to paragraphs later mid another sentence) have been Wilco ones. It looks like Fox Eye Publishing: Classic Editions is just set up so at a glance it looks like it is published out of the UK, when behind the scenes it’s actually just more Wilco Publishing House out of India. Makes it to 3 stars because the book quality itself is actually quite good. The errors and having to be on your toes for missing content make it a strong would not recommend.

Great collection, each with a handy ribbon bookmark attached. Had never got around to reading HP Lovecraft but enjoyed the Cthulhu mythos. Some of the short stories are great, and made into films on the Cabinet of Curiosities

Lovely Christmas present

The font is easy to read, but the text is quite difficult to understand as Lovecraft had his own intricate style of writing. This edition is published in 2023
