Instructions: ● Locate a flat, dry surface appropriate for the size of your heat mat. ● Avoid cold surfaces, as they will counteract the heating ability of your heat mat. ● Plug the heat mat's electrical cord into a standard 120-volt outlet. ● Place a propagation tray or other plant container on the heat mat. ● For best results, cover seedlings/cuttings with a humidity dome. ■ Note: You will need to monitor the temperature so that the soil is heated to approximately70-78° and kept at this level. For example if the room temperature is already at 65° and the heat map was left on to raise the soil temperature 20° higher than that, the seeds would overcook and die. The seedlings will sprout anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks depending upon the type of plant you are growing. Many herbs take 2 weeks while tomatoes sprout in a just a few days. After sprouting, plan on moving seedlings to a larger pot away from the heat mat so they can acclimate to their new environment. ■ Package Include: 1x Seedling Heat Mat
