Arrivederci! 2 Libro (+ Audio CD)

I have sent my remarks at the arrival.

There is no English (there is a different version available with some text in English) which may be considered either good, as you are forced to translate everything as you go, or bad, as because of the language barrier it is often unclear what the exercises are asking you to do. Having said that, even the instructor is sometimes not sure! Not all the exercises have answers provided in the book. And while there are some grammar sections at the back, this is not terribly useful for reference. As part of a taught course, and with separate books for grammar, this book is ok. But I would not recommend it for self-study.

I required this text book for my course. It arrived quickly, and is suitably demanding as the text and instructions are all in Italian, though written for foreigners. Chosen by my university department as appropriate for my level.

I am currently using it on the Italian course I attend. It is difficult to judge how good it is as a textbook as we have only done the first chapter. The CDs are useful though.

It was recommended by the Italian teacher and it is quite useful because it has a lot of excersises to practice.
