A great improvement for virtually eliminating air, dust and insect infiltration at the head and jambs of a closed overhead garage door. I am seeing approximate 15 degree increase and improvement in attached garage temperature with 32 degree ambient. Relatively easy to install w/minimum hand tools. (Drill/Driver, Tape Measure and a flat work surface to layout and cut). The "peal off" adhesive on the contact surface is a great feature to aid installation and will work best at warmer temperatures. I completed my installation in a little over 2 hours in 55 deg. temperature. Adhesive bonded sufficiently on jambs but not so well on head where bearing weight of weatherstrip. Follow instructions and wipe down painted surfaces which will receive adhesive contact surface of weatherstripping. Plastic washer/caps for use at attaching screws add a finishing touch to installation. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve the environment of a garage.

I purchased these seals for two custom sliding doors that I made for my workshop. They work extremely well for our enclosure. They seal the doors as they should and help eliminate the bugs that were entering my building. Plus, they help with temperature control! They are easy to install with the hardware included. They are durable, thick enough to provide a seal while still remaining flexible.

When I installed these gaskets, I made the mistake of placing them too close to the door- I put the crease at the inner edge of the frame (crease is where the flat part that attached to the frame transitions into the flexible flap that rubs against the door- a kind of a hinge). Because the flexible part that rubs the door is very thick and NOT flexible, the electric garage door would not come fully down- it stopped and reversed because it sensed too much resistance. Apparently, placing the hinge too close to the door required so much force to bend back this flap and close the door against it that everything stopped. I had to fully remove the gasket (and the paint peeled off the frame, thank you) and then reinstall it much farther away. In fact, I initially installed it with the garage door open. This time, I left the door closed and positioned the gasket so that the flexible edge just gently touched the door. This worked. Now that it is done, it does work very well, looks good, and actually was relatively easy to install, especially now that I know this. My garage has two doors- I did one at a time, and learning my mistake, the gasket install on the second door went smoothly and quickly. Just very unfortunate that none of these installation tips were offered in the documentation.

This is a little different than the one we replaced. At first one side was put on too close to the edge of the trim and the door would not close all the way and stuck when it got down so far. Once that was figured out and the piece was moved out a bit everything worked smoothly. All in all they are easy to install and looks great

Definitely a quality product for a great cost. Adhesive was strong and the screws it came with helped secure this for a long time fit. I only gave it 3 stars because I measured this to fit with several inches to spare and measured it a couple times to make sure. As you can see in the pics it was about 10 inches shorter than the 480 inches it advertised. Not a deal breaker since the sides were the biggest concern with the small acception of an aesthetic issue.

Easy installation. Did this in about an hour. Adhesive worked well and screws worked great. Flexible and the width covered all gaps. Good durability.

Product material is defective. After just over a year and three months, the material has completely melted and fallen to pieces. This is not an annually replaced maintenance item and is entirely too soon to have to replace.
