Thankfully, the product mixed in easily without altering the taste or aroma of my wine - kudos for living up to the claim of being odorless and tasteless! It's reassuring to have an ample 'best-by' date, giving me confidence that the sorbate will last for many more fermentation adventures. Small miracles in powder form, this additive is a quiet guardian, ensuring my labor of love doesn't turn into vinegar. If my bottles age as gracefully as I anticipate, I'll chalk it up to this unassuming but essential component in my winemaking toolkit.

I received an odorless, tasteless white powder in a zipper top bag. The best by date is 23 months in the future. I used this just prior to bottling some mead today. I will start opening the bottles in a year.Reviewing a product that has a purpose of making sure nothing happens is odd. If I never update this review, then this Unpretentious Potassium Sorbate did it's job.

It's pure, it's cheap per gram, it works. What else needs to be said?
