They work.
They work great. Bought to train my apple tree branches to grow at a proper angle. They were easy to position on the tree and are working well. They will occasionally fall off in windy conditions but are very easy to reposition.

Good product
Just make sure you inspect them when you open them. Once I started using the two packages I bought I noticed about a half a dozen tips were broken. I can’t see whether this happened in shipping or for me, tossing the packages to the grass in between uses but I will be buying them again.

Worked for me.
I used these for my fruit trees at my last home and they worked very well for me. The 0ther spreaders all look like they want to point the branches at the ground with some sort of radical bend, Not what I want! I just want to get some spacing between branches.Left the spreaders back in NC because you can only get so much in a 20-foot box truck. Now my new trees are developing and need some care.

Got fruit trees and need to spread the branches?
This are durable plastic branch spreaders and the work very well. We have about 15 fruit trees and needed to spread the branches in an efficient way. Bingo! These things work great. At the base of the Y shape is a little nub which sticks into the bark a little so they do not come loose and fall out. I have watched then handle strong gusts of wind and did not fall out. Various sizes in the package allow you to spread to your hearts content. Nice product!

Break easily
It is as advertise, it does help the branches grow in the direction you want them to grow however, the product breaks easily. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Good product
These were exactly what I needed to spread the branches apart on my fruit trees. Need to train the branches to be apart from one another to let the light and air circulate. I like that they come in three different sizes. These are perfect for the job. Would recommend

They are easy to position for correct angles
I’ve ordered a third set of them because they are so easy to set the correct spread and angle on reasonably young branches. They are too brittle for older branches…simply not strong enough for older woodier branches. But I’m using them for trees in the ground for less than a year. Once you’ve pruned your trees correctly, the spreaders induce the right angle for growth. The question is how will they handle extended use in wind and over the winter rainy season. I suspect some will fall off or break. But if you don’t prune your trees correctly in the first place, they can’t promote the open shape you are looking for.

These are great!
I really like these limb spreaders. The small point in the V holds it tight. I think it's a really good design.
