We have our satellite dish (yes, we still use it for FreeSat!) on the wall above our kitchen door. Pigeons using it as a perch and sh*tting onto the area below had never previously been a problem in the more than 10 years we've lived in our house, but this year, a family of "town" pigeons have decided to use it as a perch. Cue lots of pigeon droppings right outside the back door. I decided to get these spikes as they can be "moulded" around curves, and the three joined strips can be separated into single strips, which is what I needed. They have holes in case you want to fix them to a flat surface like a fence using screws, but that wasn't going to work for me, so I used cable ties and wire to tie them to the top of the dish using the little holes in the dish itself as the anchor points. The spikes have been completely effective at preventing the pigeons from perching on the dish, and a poo-free floor has been restored. They're quite pricey at £9.99 for 1.2m, so if you wanted to cover a long run, it would be expensive, but for the short lengths I needed to cover the potential perching points on the satellite dish, 1.2m was ample with a few strips to spare.

Good shed , bit of a pain removing protective film, descent price, looks good too. Therefore value for money.

Well, no more messy Pigeon droppings on my decking - works perfectly. Easy to install - I used Soudal Fix All High Tack to fix it to the roof tile.

They work but they aren't UV resistant. While these deter birds (in my case pigeons) from roosting on the railing round my decking (and destroying the decking with their droppings) I had to get rid as a couple of stormy days destroyed the spikes. The exposure to weather had made them very brittle and strong winds meant that I spent an interesting hour picking bits of plastic up from my garden. I've now replaced them with with metal spikes (supposed to be stainless steel). Hopefully they will last longer.

Great quality. Purchased to keep the pigeons off of our gazebo. They've worked perfectly (no more pigeon droppings all over our garden furniture). Only down side is that they come stacked tightly and some can be hard to seoerate but apart from that a really effective product

They are brilliant but don’t keep crows or magpies off . But still keeps another birds of especially pigeons.

At first it worked perfectly but unfortunately the same as the other reviews. Brittle and break very easy after about a year after placing them. Even with strong wind they break leaving a giant mess and danger for my dog and cat. Tried to contact seller to look for a solution because in NL we have 2 years legal warranty and the product unfortunately does not live up to that. No response yet.

We noticed neighbors with these devices on their black mailboxes that seemed to keep in reducing critter fecal matter from collecting on the mailboxes. We purchased this product several months ago and low and be hold the mailbox has been clean. Is the black mailbox the attraction due to its warmth, especially during the cooler months, that attracts the birds to the surface? Who knows but these products seem to work!
