The union suit utilizes the same tried-and-true fabrication technique that fuses two layers of fabric to create the feel of a single layer, while delivering the warmth of three

Comfortable! How this men's union suit fits a woman.
I work in cold conditions where undergarments are required to be natural fibers and a porta-john/porta-potty is often my only option. I usually avoid wool because even soft wool makes me itch; but, I know it is warm. So, cotton on the inside got my attention. I wanted one less layer that I have to tuck in.I am impressed with how comfortable this union suit is.It arrived yesterday and I slept in it last night to test comfort. I love it! I plan to buy more. For women's sizing: I looked at the image of a sizing chart they provided and read reviews. My measurements are 40" chest and 30" waist. 140 lb. And 5'4".A 30" inseam pant fits to my ankles when standing, I generally buy 32" inseam pants.I bought size small. The fit is a bit long in the crotch, likely because I have a short torso and no "package." :)It's not tight in the chest either. There is room for shrinking. The leg length is just right, with the crotch pulled up. (I have long legs for my height)If the leg length shrinks, I am prepared to deal with it since I have long socks. But I'll update if they shrink at all.Usage of rear button fly:Clearly the fly was made for men, so I knew there would be some adjusting. In order to sit on the throne and pee like a lady while using this fly, you've got to pull it forward a bit with one hand and hold it in place. I say it's worth it to avoid much of the freezing cold air in the porta-johns. I am getting a she-wee, so, I wont need to worry about that as often. In a couple days I will try it on under all my layers and test it in a cold work environment for 13 hours, then I will update.Update: it did shrink a little bit. It still fits. The leg length is still great. The crotch area is a bit less baggy now.The union suit certainly helps keep me warmer. Today was a high of 0° ferenheit and I'm not nearly as cold as I was with a thinner under-layer.Ladies: For those who were wondering, it works great with a Freshette (similar to she-wee) but I can still use the rear opening for all my restroom needs as well.

5 foot 7, about 190lbs - medium fits great
EDIT: Here we are, eight years later. This garment is still my go-to in cold weather, and it's not shown any significant signs of wear. Thinking that I'd like to buy another one that's not fire engine red, I returned to my order and... this particular item is no longer sold. Instead, there's a black version that's apparently only one size. And instead of being about thirty bucks, it's now about $75!You know what? I'm going to buy it anyway. I've easily gotten $75 worth of wear out of my current union suit. I'll probably still be ahead of the game when it comes to the "satisfaction per dollar spent" metric. I just hope that the fit is okay.- - - - - - - -I'm about 5 foot 7, about 190lbs. It's not a pot belly, it's reserve fuel! I ordered a Medium and it fits just about perfectly - I even have room for generous Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts! Pretty sure this is now my favorite piece of clothing, it's very soft and warm. The inseam could be a tad shorter, but maybe this union suit will stretch a little over time... or maybe I'll get used to the snug feeling. The rear opening is hassle free, which surprised me.If there was a short sleeved version of this, I'd wear it to work. I can already tell I'm going to hate taking this off in the morning.

Unisex, not just for men
This is a great quality union suit and is very comfortable and warm. I bought two, one for me and one for my man. We both love them and intend to buy another one each. The fabric is soft and thin enough to comfortably wear under most clothes, while being warm enough to keep the chills away without getting hot and steamy inside the suit. I was unsure if buying a men's union suit would work for me but, although its an inch or two too long, it fits really well otherwise. For women considering buying this for themselves I would suggest looking at the sizes for the chest measurements and going down a size. I chose a size that matched my bust and it was way too big. The next size down fits well. Don't worry about squeezing curves into it, the union suit has plenty of room for those without stretching the fabric. It's a shame this is not advertised as a unisex union suit as it really is suited to both genders.

Duofold Men's Mid Weight Union Suit RED Medium
I started wearing RED union suits stationed in Germany and have worn them since, so that's been a long time. And I've worn them through the tundra of Alaska. This is the heaviest one I've owned, or thickest I should say . Even after having washed several times in hot water it still fits rather baggy. I like mine to fit like a body suit. So that's where the 4 star rating came from. As far as the suit itself, it is top quality PERIOD. I can promise this Union Suit worn properly will keep you warm and it is very well made. As I mentioned even after several hot washings not only has it not shrunk, it has not faded or leeched at all. Great for outdoors, great for those cold days lazing around the house. Also this particular brand (Duofold) is the softest material of any Union Suit I own or have owned.
