SM-MA-F160P/D R160P/D Flat Mount to Post Mount Brake Caliper Adapter for 160mm Rotors Road Disc Brake FM to PM

We bought a premium level trail bike from Trek with a carbon fiber frame for my wife two years ago. It's always struggled with the brakes. For whatever reason, Trek decided to include Tektro flat mount hydraulic brakes. They were always weak and noisy. I wanted to convert to post mount and install some Shimano MT200s (from Amazon). These brackets made this conversion very easy and cost effective! Super happy that I was able to make this change. An item I never knew existed until I needed it. Just make sure you have sufficient space particularly for the rear caliper. I'll see about adding some photos when I get a chance.

Tried to install on a spork fork with my 160 mm rotor for my gravel bike and it did not fit. Looks like a 180mm rotor would work? I’ll order a 140 converter instead and try that.

This is a set of adapters to convert road bike brakes so they will fit another type of bike. There really isn't much to it It's just pieces of metal that you install on the bike frame.Did it work for my bike? No. I haven't trid it on my other bikes but at least we know that it doesn't work on all bike.Price is high.

These fit and worked exactly as advertised. These would have cost me $37 to purchase them as Shimano parts at wholesale and taken 2 days to get, but I ordered them here for $22 and got them the next morning. Fit was perfect and quality seems great. No complaints.

I only tried the front because that’s the one i needed. This bracket mounts the caliper crooked so the pad doesn’t correctly engage the rotor.Also the hardware bolts included were too long and would have damaged my frame if i had tried to tighten it down.This is not a shimano product.

The front is way too tall for a 160mm rotor, and the brakes are barely able to reach the rotor. It still works, but to be safe, it will need a larger rotor.The back works okay, so it's weird the front is too long.

Works as it should. Apparently there is clearance issues on some frames but it fit mine perfectly.

This likely gets returned frequently because the bolts are not the correct width.
