Simply thick. Simply quick
So much easier to use than the gritty powder that does not dissolve well. Mixes is easily and the thickening is quick. Can be used with any liquid hot or cold. Well with the money spent. Will get more in the future as needed

Simply thick is great
Simply thicken is alot better then the powder thick it. Doesn't change the flavor of your food your using it in. It's gel that mixes easily

Great product.
Since my wife had her stroke, I have used several brands that were a powder mix. They just kept getting thicker as time went by till unusable. This product was highly recommended by the medical staff and is easy to use. Cost a little more than the other brands but we'll worth it.

Expensive, easy, thickens well, but …
… thickens a drink over time (upon standing) — we have had drinks at barely honey thickness go past pudding thickness over several hours. It can loosen bowels if used a lot without firm foods in diet, and it partly or totally washes out some but not all flavors. It seems to only slightly wash out stronger flavors like ginger tea, but it definitely wipes out whole milk (but my tastebuds flicker, so might not be a huge problem for others). Easy-ish cleanup — the gel can dry on the tip of the nozzle, but it wipes clean with a tissue soaked in alcohol. Cups and glasses will be coated inside, which can make hand-washing slippery and gooey, but swiping it out with a finger under running water, then washing, will keep your glass, hands, and dishcloth clean. The mixing instructions work, and the translations seem to be complete. It will easily and quickly bring drinks, sauces, soups, gravy, etc to the thickness you want, even pudding thickness, which is hard for a powder we have tried called Thicken-Up. Simply Thick will even mix smoothly when shaken well in a juice box (tetra pack carton), but be careful because pudding thickness is hard to drink from any container with a small opening. Simply Thick will also thicken pre-thickened drinks like nutritional shakes even further. And it works with acid drinks like juices, and drinks with antacid powders mixed in. Good hot or cold. But it is VERY expensive, especially for pudding thickness, and we havent seen it on ebt yet. So we use it way less often than we should, but letting drinks sit and going thirsty for a few hours means we can start out with less and make the expensive gel last longer. We hope they will lower the price some and make it available on ebt.

The most recommended thickener
My toddler has been using simply thick level 3 for over 1.5 yrs now. This is the best thickener to use for any kind of liquid; hot or cold, fizzy or still. It’s tasteless, doesn’t clump nor thicken more over time/temp and you can prepare ahead of time without it “going bad” or becoming too thick like other thickeners do. I try to use his prepared beverages within 24-48 (max) but it doesn’t actually have an expiration time of use. But that’s me personally as I noticed liquids tend to lose the thickening after too many days.As others note, you have to clean the tip of the spout at least at the end of the day to remove any crust. Otherwise, it’ll spray all over. Also, this bottle lasts my son about 3 weeks. We also use the to go packets which are super convenient and very easy to open since they are pre cut to open. The only thing I will say when using on carbonated drinks is that it might fizz up too much and overflow. That was my experience so I don’t give my son carbonated drinks.
