Excellent movie in 3d

This story was very much a sequel, it wasn't as good as the prevous ones and did fall asleep in it but is nice to watch every now and again

There's no spoilers in this review... I give it 4 stars for but its for the value of entertaining the children alone. It's a kids film and our 6 year olds love it. They could watch it back to back all day if we let them. Now, I know won't get any 'helpful comments votes' but for family (that includes parents!) entertainment I wouldn't give it any stars. It was mildly amusing but not very funny. The humour is generally based on sly remarks at the expense of another character. I have to admit I can't say it was boring as there was constant jeopardy until they objective is achieved. It was the constant repartition of the perilous situations that was boring. It's not like choice is restricted as it cheap for a DVD but if it were I'd choose almost any Pixar film over Ice Age.

Manny and Ellie are starting a family , Sid wants a family of his own and decides to adopt 3 T rex babies the mother isn’t pleased when she realises Sid is caring for them kidnaps Sid a heavily pregnant Ellie , crash ,Eddie , manny and Diego search for Sid but they are unaware that the dinosaur mother is the least of their worries will they find Sid alive?

Careful - some reviews will tell you the entire plot of this film and ruin it for you - I won't Before I buy a DVD for my kids, I always ask myself 2 questions: Did the kids enjoy it in the cinema? Will they want to watch it again and again? It's a resounding yes on both counts here This was a top afternoon's entertainment and the kids (6 and 8) absolutely loved it, were never bored and talked about it for hours afterwards. What more do you want? We thought this was the best Ice Age yet; a lot more adventurous, exciting and fast-paced than the others. The 'Lost World' premise and a couple of excellent new characters really brought the movie to life and opened up new possibilities. Inevitably, this will be compared to Pixar movies and I think it stands up to that comparison very well - VERY HIGH praise indeed. Buy this and know your kids will get pleasure from it over and over again and you will too!

Ice Age 1: Sehr gut; Ice Age 2: Gut, Ice Age 3: Super. Erwartet hate ich einen guten Animationsfilm zum Schmunzeln, nachdem ich von Ice Age 2 nicht so begeistert war. Doch was ich in Ice Age 3 zu sehen bekam, hat mich völlig umgehauen. Die Effekte sind ein riesiger Sprung gegenüber den ersten beiden Teilen, die Animationen und Soundeffekte haben mir vor Freude die Tränen in die Augen getrieben. Ein Brüller nach dem Anderen. Es kam bisher selten vor, dass mich ein Film so super über die volle Länge unterhalten hat. Es gab keine Durchhänger und auch der Film war länger als erwartet. Echt klasse! Hier wurde mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet. Auch die Synchronisation war tadellos. Kritikpunkte? Manch wenige Gags waren leicht albern, aber sonst? Allerdings habe ich noch zur Blue Ray kritische Worte. Das Cover von Ice Age 3 ist wunderbar gelungen, aber anstatt auf der Rückseite aussagekräftige, schöne Bilder AUS dem Film abzubilden, sieht man nur hässliche Bilder aus den Extras. Nervig. Blue Ray Bild auf dem Plasma Panasonic Tx P42 U 10 E mit der PS3 Slim Version 3.0, Overscan aus, IFC aus, Full HD, Vivanco HDMI Kabel Die Schärfe ist perfekt und ohne Schlieren, allerdings zeigt sich in Weitwinkelaufnahmen teils flackern auf weißen Stellen, die den positiven Gesamteindruck schmälern. Ob das an meinen Einstellungen liegt oder nicht, weiß ich nicht. Auch bei Transformers 2 habe ich teils flackern festgestellt, z.B. bei Szenen mit Nebel oder Hitzflimmern. Bei The Dark Knight hatte ich in keiner Szene solch ein Problem, was aber auch der fast ständigen Dunkelheit im Film liegen könnte. Wer ähnliche Beobachtungen gemacht hat oder du Grund dafür kennt, soll einen Kommentar hinzufügen. Fazit: Brilliante Komödie mit sehr guten Animationen, die den Vorgänger locker in die Tasche steckt. Bild: 09/10 Fast perfekt, aber teils flackern von weißen Flächen im Weitwinkel. Ton: 9/10 Sehr gute Synchronisation, tolle und süße Soundeffekte. Story: 7/10 Aufbruch zur Rettung eines Freundes. Gut. Computereffekte: 9/10. Großer Sprung zum zweitem Teil. Detailreich, liebevoll, viele WOW-Effekte. Humor: 9/10 Tränen gelacht. Action: 8/10 Langweilig wirds fast nie. Spannung: 4/10 Vielleicht für Kinder spannend.

Semplice DVD che continua la storia dei mitici personaggi.

Muchas veces tenemos que recurrir a comprar el cine importado de otros paises pero esto se soluciona gratamente con las productoras que meten varios idiomas en la propia película. Posibilidad de verlo en Castellano Dolby 5.1, aunque en Ingles e Italiano esta en DTS 7.1, pero muy bien grabada y producida, con una nitidez supina y el sonido perfecto, tambien incluye los subtitulos en castellano como posibilidad de verla en V.O. Me valió 16 Euros y tre la versión en 3D la version normal , el DVD y una copia que te la bajas de la pagina de 20thfox al Pc con un código que viene dentro. La edición que mandan es la lujo con una funda de la caratula en papel brillante resaltando el propio dibujo de la portada. Recomendado y muy buena saga.
