SK-II skincare uses Pitera, a bio-ingredient created through yeast fermentation, in their products, which is what sets them apart from other lines. Pitera is supposed to mimic your skin’s natural hydration system, as well as strengthen the skin barrier. As for this particular moisturizer, I find the formula to be quite silky. It does a good job of adding dewy-ness to the skin, as well as softening the skin to touch. I have discovered that I can only use this moisturizer at night, as I find it is too heavy to be worn during the day under make-up.

This SK II Skimpower moisturizer is my favorite anti-aging skin softener. I have seen improvements over the years with this product. The scent is neutral and pleasant.
