This product is a high-quality desk shelf that I would feel safe using. The quality makes me absolutely sure that it wouldn't break or wear down, even after a long period of use.This was one of those purchases where I thought, "This product can't be as good as advertised. There has got to be a catch." I am happy to say that I was wrong, and the Snughome Desk Shelf actually exceeded all my expectations!I like this product for a number of reasons:- design (5 stars)- sturdiness (5 stars)- great quality materials (5 stars)- simplicity in building and easy-to-follow instructions (5 stars)- conservative packaging (fits perfectly into the box it came in and doesn't waste any packing materials, so 5 stars)It was easy to put together, a large size, and felt REALLY sturdy! I was going to use it to place my electronics and photography equipment on; and I genuinely believed it would have held everything very well!The only reason I returned it is because I didn't properly measure my space! I had purchased a cabinet that I put next to my small desk (in the same Amazon order), and the cabinet turned out slightly taller than my desk. This Snughome Desk Shelf was a nice size, so I thought I'd set it across both the cabinet and the desk together.However, due to my set-up, it just didn't suit my preferences. The Snughome shelf actually comes with risers that you can screw onto the bottom of the frame, so I tried to level it out across the two surfaces, which was really nifty and a GREAT design choice. It just wasn't working out for me. Great product though!If you need just a little more space around your desk area, this is a great use of vertical storage. Took me about an hour and a half to put together (and I was taking my sweet time). Really great quality for the price. I will definitely be purchasing Snughome products in the future!

The size was perfect for the desk I was given in my dorm and it was nice to have extra storage for things like perfume and jewelry when in a small space. All of the panels were flat, except one that was warped a little but it was easy enough to screw down so that it was flat. This was really easy to assemble and took me less than 20 minutes to put together. The quality was good and it has held up through being taken apart and put together multiple times.

Overall, I think this shelf looks good. I love the amount of extra space I now have to grow plants at my desk. The color of the wood grain coordinates well with items I've purchased from other vendors. The shelf was fairly easy to put together and the instructions were better than some other similar products I've ordered. I do think the product looks cheap upon close inspection though. The 3 boards that make up the top shelf were not easy to install. The holes drilled into the black metal support pieces and the holes drilled into the wooden pieces did not fit together well. I had to force the boards into place as I screwed them in. And now, you can still tell these pieces to not sit flush with each other and there are gaps in sections, which you can see in my photos. The metal pieces that make up the vertical supports also do not quite sit flush with one another. They look misaligned, which you can also see in my photos. Overall, I don't think these issue cause a structural problem. The shelf seems sturdy enough to hold the objects I've put on it, but I notice the cosmetic problems often, as I sit in front of this shelf/my computer all day.

This was pretty easy to put together in about 45 minutes by myself.. probably would've been a lot faster with two people.It's super solid, great materials, and all the pre-drilled holes fit together perfectly. The metal frame isn't flimsy at all and the wood shelves have a nice varnished feel.The instructions were very easy to follow and everything was clearly labeled.It's a little taller than i expected it to be but that's not a bad thing at all. I was worried my monitor wouldn't fit under it but it fits beyond perfectly.Overall it met my expectations and in some ways exceeded them. The only thing that's a little off is that the top shelf is in 3 pieces, but they fit snugly together so there's no super noticeable gaps.The packaging was great, everything fit snugly in the box and there was plenty of protection on the corners - the two larger boards were held together by a solid buffer that fit over the corners against the insides of the box to prevent damage in transit which was a nice touch.Overall fantastic product, i would absolutely recommend.

I bought this shelf for my freshman college dorm desk to provide more storage and it was incredibly easy to assemble, large and sturdy. I'm very happy to start using it this fall.

It creates a small space that I thought would not look bulky or cluttered. It adds some style to my tiny office space.

EXTREMELY easy to build!! Very sturdy and good size! It's fairly narrow so it fits on most dressers/desks while still having room for many items. Every piece fit together perfectly. I used it for my nick knacks and tarantula collection
