If you are planning on installing LVP flooring on your own then this is the tool to buy! I previously installed flooring in my basement without a proper cutting tool like this and it SUCKED! I'm so glad I picked this up for my most recent installation. The cuts are clean and easy and this definitely expedited the project. The cutter is pretty decent quality and I have had zero issues with it, definitely worth the investment!

I recently just got my very first house and slowing working on replacing all old 30 years carpets into LVP. I didn't know floor cutter existed and I was using jigsaw for all my cuttings.which was quite a big big big pain. This floor cutter is definitely a life saver and it is also within my acceptable budget range. It arrived in a flat medium size box, with every parts neatly packed together. The instructions are clear but still, the installation is not too easy. It does required few tools which didn't come with the box. See my pictures, I used 3 tools to get this successfully installed. The most painful part is the installation, once I got over it. This floor cutter is amazing! It is lightweight but it is strong! I literally used no force, and my LVP got cut smoothly. I also rented one from local store, and this one is much better. Others required lots of force, and I am a really weak petite female. With this cutter, it makes my LVP installation much faster and easier. It has a lock piece, a hand holder area to carry it. A measuring piece for angles. It is definitely well worth the price.

This item is a major time saver as well as a great way to finish a flooring project without having to leave your work area to complete loud, debris producing saw cuts. I finished my project in a least a quarter of the time. Device is sturdy and well made and will be good for any future flooring projects. Thank you.

We purchased this for our new engineer hardwood floor we were putting in. It was my husbands first time laying flooring and he loved this plank cutter. It cut easily for him wasn't crazy loud or hard to maneuver . I would recommend to anyone who's doing a DIY flooring project. Definitely worth the money saved from hiring someone else to do it.

Well I got this to lay down flooring to cut it with out a saw and it works perfectly for me. I am no carpenter so I am happy for what it does.
