Instant facelift for the TV stand he won’t let us part with!
Finally, I’m able to cover the ugly imperfections on the TV stand my husband refuses to let me get rid of. It’s not an ugly stand, but the blown out legs from spills and rugged edges from wear were really making me feel gross and tacky. We just put up a new TV and I was wanting to try and pleas things up but he said no to the exiting of the stand. Anyway, on to Amazon I went because I knew there had to be an option. Matching the color is going to be very hard, but I did my best to find just the right combination of grey and “oak.” To my surprise, the match was very close! If you are right up on the stand, yes, you may see the difference, but at a glance and from a distance you’d never know. It is a slightly shinier surface, but not total gloss. Maybe closer to a satin feel but not too much. It is thin and very easy to cut and mold around edges. The thin nature of it was perfect for my needs. This is a surface that does not get constantly used like an end table might so it’ll be just fine in the long run. And if it’s not, I have plenty to replace it with. It comes with a little exacto knife and a squeegee thingy to push out bubbles and flatten to your surface. It sticks pretty well. I was able to pull it up a little to fix it without trouble, but that was holding it firmly on either end and pulling evenly. It may tear easily if you don’t pull it right. If you are looking for perfect cuts, use a self-healing mat and rotary or craft blade, but this one it comes with did the trick. I didn’t mind slightly jagged edges. I was able to fix and cover 3 legs and the top ledge. I’m very happy! My husband literally came out in the middle of me writing the review and said it looks great and is a pretty good match, and that I should honestly just cover the whole top with it to really ensure it’s a matching finish. I may do that later. Definitely recommend if you need something in a pinch and to save some money.

Fantastic, cheap way to patch woodwork
I had to retrofit my desk to fit my new PC setup, but also didn't want to have to buy a sander and wood finish to take care of the rough unfinished spots. These worked great, it looks almost indistinguishable from the original desk wood. The tape is very thin, but I see that as an advantage since it means it almost doesn't stick out when placed in the middle of wood or when overlapped with more tape. That said, any remotely pointy things (like nails or staples) can easily poke thru the tape because of how thin it is. I wouldn't say this is a solution for big projects, but for little stuff like this, it's perfect. Just make sure to get the proper color match.

Decent quality, looks great for a “good enough” fix
Our kitchen table is a laminate conference table I got used. (Highly recommend laminate for big families— it is virtually indestructible, you can clean it with acetone if you have to!) On all four sides of the base, the laminate was detaching, causing a rough and slightly sharp surface if you bumped a knee on it. So I got this wood look tape to cover the worn areas. There wasn’t a perfect color available but this is totally good enough. The tape goes on easily, it’s very smooth and has a backing along the whole length. It can be repositioned when you’re applying it. It comes with a cutting tool and a plastic scraper thing for getting out air bubbles. There is a very slight texture to the tape. It can be torn (in an uneven line because of the “grain”) in the long way. But if you try to tear it across the short way it stretches and does not tear. It is thinner than duct tape. Since my use is somewhat structural/functional rather than just decorative, I’ll update this review if it’s terrible. I hope that after a day or so it’ll be harder to peel off/more permanent, and that it won’t become brittle. We shall see! But from application and looks initially, seems like a good product. Pictures show before (damage), after tape, and side view to show color contrast which is something I can live with easily.

Surprised at color match
I had about 4-6 inches in my bathroom that was exposed subfloor the vinyl piece was just too short. The box store stopped carrying the "model." Bathroom matches the kitchen floor. So after reading everyones reviews I decided to get this tape and some brown duct tape. The duct tape holds the edge of the vinyl down nicely and we just covered the remaining subfloor with it hopefully it will help with durability. We covered the duct tape with this tape. This tape is pretty thin but seems to stick to the duct tape pretty well. I was really pleased with the color match. My daughter helped me "install" and there are several air bubbles that I wish weren't there but it is so much better than it ever was. Good solution for now. Some day we'll replace all of the flooring.

Color Changed, No Longer a Match
I'm so sad to discover they must have changed suppliers within the last year. 😭 The color is VERY different than what I've received in the past. I purchased the Begonia Wood 5.9 inch at least half a dozen times. In the past, it was always a perfect color match to my flooring, and so helpful for patching cracks or covering small blemishes in the laminate wood. BUT NOW, the color is so different, and you can see it in my photo. On the left is what I've normally received every time I ordered it in the past. But on the right is the color I received yesterday. 😭 I will have to return it, and start my hunt for a new seller. I gave 3 stars because I still found the old product to be excellent in the past. But I haven't tried the new version because of the color issue.

Works Great!
I'm living temporarily in an older, one bedroom apartment. I got a deal on the rent because the unit needs updating/refurbishing. The old kitchen cabinets needed to be covered in lots of places. This matched perfectly and you can't tell where the repairs are. Its easy to use, sticks well and stays on and very high quality. Not the greatest apartment, but my kitchen cabinets look fab now! I highly recommend!

Awesome tape for repairs and crafts
I used this to cover some damage to a floor. It worked perfectly. The color is great. It is nice and thin. It is a thin plastic material so it didn't tear at all. It is easy to work with. It sticks well. You still have a little play for readjusting. I actually cut some in half for something smaller and it cut well with a cutter and a straight edge.

It’s a temporary fix in a pinch.
This is a perfect match to the laminated “made to look like wood” floor planks in my apartment. Some are lifting and splitting at the seams. And it’s a prefix temporary fix to what will become a bigger problem if not remedied soon by the management where I live.
