Feels sturdy and easy to fit and use.
Great bit of kit, easy to program and use. Fitting was a doddle with the masonry screws, remember to remove the debris from the hole before fitting the screws or else you'll shear one off like I did. Still absolutely rock solid with only 3 screws. Lights up which is a lovely touch and feels very hefty, seems much more secure than the cheap ones you see everywhere.

Very secure and looks very smart
Amazing key safety. Love the backlights that will help at night. Easy to open the key safe. The build quality is second to none, but it is expensive. For me it was an easy installation, make sure you follow the instructions and get new good quality concrete drill bits for making the holes into the bricks and it’s a doddle.

Great, but check mounting suitability before using the supplied bolts.
This was our first experience of fitting a key safe. It's use has enabled us to allow dog carers to visit without farming out a lot of key sets thereby reducing our home security. It's strong and very capable. Set up was easy (although reading the instructions is essential). The only problem proved to be the self tapping bolts that came with it. Sadly they are so big and long that I burnt out three masonry drills before giving up and fitting via wall plugs and traditional screws. It turns out the bricks I was fitting it into were hollow inside so weren't suitable.

Solid secure keysafe
Really solid good quality keysafe, pretty heavy solid metal. A little fiddly to set a longer passcode but overall a great product. Love the light up keypad and weatherproof cover.

delivers on durability, usability, and peace of mind
This key safe is exceptionally well-designed for security-conscious homeowners. The heavy-duty metal construction feels solid and durable, giving confidence that it can withstand tampering or forced entry. The combination lock is smooth and precise, with tactile feedback that makes setting and entering codes easy. Installation on a wall is straightforward, and the mounting hardware feels secure once in place. The interior is spacious enough to hold multiple keys or small access cards without being bulky, and the protective weatherproof coating ensures reliable outdoor use in all conditions. Overall, the Tamo Maximum Security Key Safe delivers on durability, usability, and peace of mind—an excellent choice for safely storing keys outdoors

Good quality piece of equipment.
Instructions to fit and maintain are excellent. The product is really sturdy and solid. The lights are a good touch and hopefully the module can be replaced in around 5 years if the lights go out. The cover is slightly flimsy but it is just a cover. Good quality piece of equipment.

Great kit. Beware rawlplugs!
A really superb piece of kit. Complete fitness for purpose. Well pleased, and I’m fussy 😐 It comes with self-tapping masonry screws that literally screw to the brickwork, blockwork, or whatever (like woodscrews screw directly into wood). This gives a completely secure fixing. Beware using rawlplugs. If you do, the screws will not tap directly into the brick/block and thus will not provide a secure fixing. It’ll make prising the safe off the wall much easier. Tip: after drilling the holes clean all the dust out with a thin brush and a vacuum. When you are putting a self-tapping screw in and it becomes tight, slacken the screw back and return to screwing it in. May need to repeat this a few times. This prevents over torquing with consequent shearing off of the screw head. More than annoying. For the same reason, best avoid using a power tool. I use the key safe in conjunction with a lone living alarm that sends an SOS to the alarm service provider who passes the entry code onto the ambulance, police etc should I become ill or have a fall. The backlit keypad is useful for responders to see the buttons in the dark when an SOS is more likely to occur. Where the keys are hung is also lit up. Also great for keeping a spare set of keys in case you lose your keys when out and about – which I’ve done more than once!

Strong Construction
The key safe comes with a paper template (to mark out the wall for the four holes) and 4 self-tapping masonry screws. The template is accurate. The self-tapping masonry screws are inferior fixings to plastic rawlplugs and screws and I would not recommend using them. Throw them away and use a 6mm drill bit to make four holes and use strong stainless screws and good quality rawlplugs. That is what I have done and it is a much stronger option. What is the point in having a strong key box that can be easily prised off the wall! Setting the combination was easy and the instructions were very clear. However, take your time to ensure you read the instructions carefully. The outside body of the key box is cast metal and the locking latch is made from steel. It’s not impossible to break into but you’d need a sledge hammer or an angle grinder to do it.
