This really keeps the ticks off

Product works ok. Kept mosquitos away from my hammock. Not happy that 2 cans came without lids and one lid was cracked. The 3 other cans had working lids.

I was using Deep Woods Off which worked pretty well in the past. This year, the ticks were the worst I've ever seen them and I'd find one on me every day. So, I switched to Repel. Instantly, no more ticks. I followed the directions and spread all of my clothing out to spray them and allow them to dry before wearing. It really does last about 2 weeks. I just keep the sprayed set of clothing for walking the dog so I wear it for such a short time I can re-wear it multiple days. My only complaint is that the aerosol can doesn't work as well as it should as the can gets closer to empty. I can still hear product in the can but it won't spray properly. This happened with more than one can. But, I was so happy to have something that works so well I didn't factor this into my rating.

Repel really works. It was the first time I ever tried it when flies were everywhere and they were biting my skin. I put repel on and never got another bite. I gave this for stars because when I ordered it, I Failed to see that it should not be put on the skin. That was my mistake and now I have a whole case and it is not returnable. I still think it’s a good product. I used it in the woods and did not get one tick bite even though the ticks are bad where I live. I’m sure it’s better anyway, avoiding putting chemicals on your skin.

When I need protection against ticks and chiggers I spray the bottom 2 inches of my boots. This works good as long as I'm not wading through tall grass and weeds. If I was to do that, I would need to wear pants and spray from my thighs on down. This is not meant for bare skin. I really like the spray button because it does not leave any liquid on my fingers. If you want to do outdoor activities during the spring and summer you will want this product. I highly recommend it and will buy more when I run out.
