Works fine and looks cool.One criticism I have though, it is that we wanted to stand it up on a shelf (like in the picture), but the micro USB socket is right near the very bottom. So when you plug it in, the USB cable sticks out at the bottom, or else you have to put a very tight bend in your cable. So the cable will definitely fail after a while. So, we're either going to have to put batteries in, or put it on the wall.Also, you have to give it quite a knock for it to come on.

Needs battery or charge but dose what it says. Not much light which I think good but depends on view. 8 year old Boy loves it
