Blade is too hard to open
Really love this thing but the only problem is that the blade is super stubborn and never wants to come out. I have blisters on my finger trying to slide the thing up. And it's not locked. The blade is the main function I want and I can't even use it without getting super upset.

This is just awesome.
This is actually my second Lever Gear product that I’ve bought ( I have the toolcard) and I’m happy with it. The design is cool, aesthetically looks awesome on my keys, and the build quality is solid. Once you have it in your hand it definitely feels worth the price tag. What really drew me to it is being able to pop out the blades easy so I can take it on a plane, into places with security, etc and then just get new blades or replace them whenever I can next. Super cool.

Works well
I needed a small blade to carry with me at all times and didn't want another thing to pollute my pockets. I have a hard-shell card wallet with an elastic band, and I carry this using that band. I've used the blade many times and it works as expected.

Problematic blade, worse than the simpler version
This item is similar to the brand's other keychain product but the knife is poorly designed. It does not lock when extended and when retracted the lock becomes stuck. The thumb slide for the lock is shallow and difficult to use. The blade itself is similar to that found on a craft knife. The other features are identical to the simpler keychain tool. I also purchased that tool and much prefer it to this version (with the blade).

Highly impressed and intend to get a second one
Great Key chain carry gadget / useful tool. The design is very cool, and you have a knife and bit holder to make the tool even better. It comes with a pocket clip and would be a great gift. I love it, and it also has a pry bar / flat head screwdriver, caution: not TSA-friendly even without the blade

Blade Lock Breaks, Lever Gear should Warn Us
The blade lock breaks on the two I own, and works on a third. The switch then will move freely, and the blade can come out. It stays in much of the time, but will protrude occasionally. Anyone who reaches into their pocket or bag will have a chance to be pricked or sliced by an X-acto blade. Since Lever Gear failed to address the issue, here is a photo. The black piece is supposed to slide and meet resistance between sides. Here it's broken. Top: left side (blade side) broken. Bottom: right side (screwdriver side) broken. In all fairness, only the first one came broken. The second Edge XT broke with use. Other than the blade lock, this thing is handy! I really like the Toolcard Pro, and it's always on me. I would say the same for the Edge XT if it was safe. I've pricked myself with it. And the customer service is great with replacements, despite their reluctance to prevent harm. I brought this up with Lever Gear in January 2024, to which they acknowledged the issue was known. They expressed concern, but concern doesn't prevent harm. Action prevents harm, but they considered action and have done nothing. I bought 10 or so for family, and now I will warn you all as I did them. Take the blade out, or use a twist tie or something through the wirestripper slot to keep the blade inside. Or check the blade lock periodically. No one wants a cut, especially if you work with your hands or can't properly treat the cut. Edit: +1 star; got another because I like the idea. Blade lock works better! But I still think the Lever Gear team needs to include some warning to periodically check the balde lock. Their replacement policy is generous.

Good keychain. I wanted something that had a knife which is the tool I use the most. Overall small and useful. Good quality.
