The picture is misleading. The metal is a very dull, dirty looking brass / gold colour, not shiny at all. The pineapple and palm tree are just pressed metal, like something you'd get in a Christmas Cracker, not solid 3D shapes. Because of this, there's absolutely no weight to them so they don't sit nicely on the wrist. The string band is very difficult to adjust - maybe this is just mine, but the type of string used is very coarse and tightly knotted so not easy to slide for adjusting the size. It wasn't exactly expensive but I still think it's overpriced for what it is and definitely not suitable for kids as the cut / pressed metal is sharp and the palm tree charm very insecurely attached. Would not recommend.
