my item was defective. the screw that holds the batteries was stripped so we call amazon for replacement, and they replaced it, and the defective item was returned to amazon. The firetruck is a neat toy specially for a young toddler. We thank Amazon for taking care of the problem.

It was a huge hit for both my 2 and 5 year old grand sons works really and seems to be durable. They love it

My son loves this firetruck. Two things I don't like about it though. First, the water cannon on top pops off really easy. He likes to take it off and put it back on to "fix" the firetruck, but I don't really like having a relatively small part come off so easy. Second, once he turns it on and it starts driving around, there is no timeout, it just goes on forever. This means that if he leaves it going before bedtime or when we are about to go somewhere, it keeps bumping around until I happen to here it.

Please don’t buy your kids this cheap thing. I bought 2 for my twins and it just fell apart and the slightest touch. I ended up trashing both of them. One started breaking from the first time they played with it and the other one withinh a week. The lights in it are cool but it’s cheaply made and poorly made too. My boys were not playing rough with them they were just trying to move the ladder and they snapped off and then the little window came off and then a tire when he was pushing it on the ground. Don’t waste your money.

We received about 2 weeks of use out of the toy. It was my son's first self moving car so he really got a kick out of that aspect. He loved the lights. But once the ladder snapped to a point, we threw it away
