AnyCubic Filaments -- The Unequivocal "Sniz-nit"
At this point, I’ve tried a range of AnyCubic filaments, and they’ve consistently knocked it out of the park. My first experience was with their semi-transparent PETG, which printed better than any PETG I’d ever used—minimal stringing, easy calibration, and gorgeous results. Naturally, I started restocking my colors with AnyCubic filaments whenever I ran low. That brings me to this Pearl Black PLA. Funny enough, I actually bought it by mistake. I was searching for high-speed PLA, having been burned by Overture’s Turbo PLA (stringing galore and a bit too brittle for my liking), when I stumbled across this roll at an unbeatable price. Assuming it was a high-speed blend, I hit “Add to Cart” faster than a failed first-layer adhesion.First Impressions & CalibrationWhen it arrived, I realized—whoops—this was just a regular PLA. But since I needed black anyway, I kept it and ran some test prints. Glad I did.• Retraction: 0.8mm at 40mm/s• Temp: 205°C• Results: Immaculate.I don’t say this lightly, but this PLA prints like butter. The finish? A deep, velvety matte that looks miles better than most standard black PLAs. I’ve printed with Overture, Sunlu, eSun, and Elegoo blacks recently, and while they were all decent, this easily takes the top spot.Performance & Print QualityIt printed flawlessly at stock speeds and acceleration settings on my Ender 3 V3 SE, and I’ll be testing it on my Prusa XL soon. But based on my past experience with AnyCubic filaments, I expect it’ll perform just as well across different machines.Another plus? No drying needed. While I found Overture Turbo PLA needed drying before printing (or stringing got out of hand), this Pearl Black PLA came dry, stayed dry, and printed perfectly straight out of the box. If you just slap it on a stock profile, I’d bet you’d still get near-perfect results—but if you like tweaking settings, you’ll have this dialed in within minutes.Final Verdict: My New Go-To Black PLAHonestly, I don’t see myself exploring other black PLAs after this. Unless this stuff goes out of stock (please, no!), I’m sticking with it. It’s just that good—rich color, reliable performance, easy printing, and a price that’s hard to beat.At this point, I feel about AnyCubic filament the way the normal Prusa fanboy feels about Prusament—except this is way cheaper and easier to get. What more can you ask for? lol.If AnyCubic keeps this up, they might just become the only filament brand I use. And I wouldn’t even be mad about it. Buying more now!(Usually when printing the V2 tabletop drawers from Jerrari, I at least see some light stringing inside the drawer casings or drawers themselves as the travel moves are regularly shooting directly through the center of the drawer or whatever. It looked like they'd been locked in an attic and colonized by spiders for the past 50 years when using the Overture Turbo PLA blend for instance. As you can see in the photos, thats not the case with the AnyCubic Pearl Black. The finished one came off the build plat looking just as it does now, another drawer currently printing behind the finished drawer shows just how well its coming off the print bed.)

Exactly what it says. Great filament
I used these for a construction project. The quality and color were spot on with what I ordered. The filament is great quality for the price. And shipping was way quicker than anywhere else

Printed perfectly!
Great quality filament! The prints came out flawlessly no matter the configuration of my printer.

Had my problem but works ok
Good filament for Anycubic printer. But when it comes to Bambu printer it’s not good. I had a lot of stringing problems. Color is fair and functional

Lived the reusable spool but bad material
They did contacted me and sent me new filament replacing the spools that had this issue. It was nice from them, thats why I changed the review from 2 to 4. Still the time wasted removing the filament, restarting the print, etc. The second clog was deep into the extruder so I had to take everything apart and I hate that. Otherwise the price is great and I hope those 2 spools were just an exception and their quality is better (mostly because I bought 12 of these..... hahaha)Original: After printing, the black is bluish, a little gray. And it's okay if you are not picky on color, but I used two spools, and both had this oversize deformity that clogged both of my printers (this was BEFORE the extruder, it wasnt a temperature issue, the filament came out of size). Bad quality.

Great value
At about $10 a roll, this was a steal. Great quality results, this is great filament.

Good quality filament.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Prints easily at high speed, but isn’t too expensive.

The spool is useless.. 🙁
Great filament but their plastic spools do not fit the Bambulab AMS Lite.. The hole is so large that they even fall off spool holders. Honestly I don’t know what spool holders they can fit other than custom ones. Added they are not even reusable so they are literally garwhen done. However, they do function fine in my X1C AMS, but it’s annoying to buy from 2 competitors just because of this. Hoping that Anycubic addresses this.
