Beautiful & comfortable
Beautiful comfortable fits my large to xl hands perfect. Steel is quality and holds it edge. Sheath fits perfectly no rattle. Green and yellow is really good looking on this one. Looks so good in person and is one of my favorites. Would buy again and will be buying my son one he wants it in black and I'll probably buy another in green. This is a functional beautiful knife sheath is perfect. One thing would be if they made a green sheath with it

First impressions
I just received the knife so let me give you my first impression. It’s a very good looking knife. I haven’t beat the knife up yet, but I have watched enough videos to know the knife is pretty tough. To me the handle feels just ok. The micarta scales are not very grippy. I might try ruffing up the micarta to get more grip. I used to make knives 30+ years ago. I sold most of my equipment, I still have all types of handle materials like micarta, stabilized giraffe bone, exotic wood, stag, and more. I might replace the handle and give it more of a swell in the center to fit the hand better. The kardex sheath and belt clip are very nice. The knife came pretty sharp from the factory for such a thick blade. Overall I think it’s a fantastic knife for the money. It’s so reasonably priced you’re not afraid to actually use it, unlike a knife you might spend $500 or more on. I was originally looking at the TRC apocalypse, but the knife is over $500 with tax. You are much better off with a cheaper knife like this and spending your money on a great sharpening system like the Hapstone RS. I think this knife would be a good deal at double the price.

Excellent camp/bush/survival knife!
Make no mistake, this knife is hefty. Thick blade, well balanced, and SHARP right out of the box. And by sharp I mean shaving sharp! It was actually the first things I did upon taking it out of the packaging and it didn’t disappoint. As for durability I haven’t yet tested it in the great outdoors. However, based on what I’ve seen so far I expect it will live up to expectations. More to come on that. The sheath is a Kydex type material and well made, with a belt clip that is adjustable to the width of your belt. I wear a 2” wide belt and thought at first that it wouldn’t fit, but there are removable spacers that, once removed, fit to my belt perfectly. It does sit quite high due to the belt clip location so I will be using either a leg strap or attaching to a molle system. Recommend!!

Better than the price indicates
I have a bunch of expensive knives, and while they are great, I hesitate to hard use them. Not so with this Eafengrow. I use it every chance I can. The full grind and wide blade make this knife slicey but not at the expense of strength. The excellent belly would make it a great field dressing knife for elk/moose/buffalo in areas where weight aren't as big of a concern. Ive used it for butchering a hog then slicing the bacon a few weeks later. I've limbed a tree. Ive broken down cardboard. Through it all its edge held up really well. I havent used it to process wood, but there was nothing that would indicate hot spots in the handle. In fact its really comfortable. My only gripe is pretty small. The sheath is made well in the sense that it holds the knife well and it stays on your belt....but. the sheath comes to a long awkward point. I think it would have been better if they had rounded the point or squared it up. That's a really small point though considering how good the rest is.

Hefty knife for a hefty job.
This is a pretty big knife. Looks and feels great in the hand. Definitely a lot of weight out front but that is good for chopping. I chopped some branches in the backyard and it dig an incredible job biting into the wood. The handle is very comfortable. I didn't have any issues chopping without gloves. I think it will be a pretty strong knife that can sustain some abuse. Only time will tell.

Great knife/ super sharp
This is a really solid and very sharp knife right out of the box, build quality is substantial and rock solid, extremely sharp right out of the box, no wiggle in the kydex sheath and stays in solid even when shaken upside down, one piece of solid thick steel, well balanced, very comfortable in the hand and can take a lot of abuse, the tip is thick enough so it won’t break off, well worth the money, surprisingly they’re not selling for over 200$

Beautiful knife.
I got the green/yellow version, looks really nice.It came sharp enough to cut paper, but it only cuts through...other EF's have come razor sharp...gliding through paper like it wasnt there...so this example...while sharp...is not razor sharp.Handle fits XXL hands very well...keep it up EF...this is improving all over the lineup.I truly hate to admit it, but EF's new lineup...at the price point AND quality they are doing...is kicking the crap out of our American makers.I am holding this knife next to my new Dawson Knives Sheperd XL...yes it's Magnacut...yes that Arizona Copper finish is beautiful...but thats where it ends...there is no more quality in manuf. between the 2...fit and finish is awesome with both...so basically it comes down to Magnacut or AUS10...and THAT alone is not a difference between 69 dollars MINUS 10% or 450 dollars...its just not there.

Very sturdy and well built knife. Had held up pretty good over no more than medium use. Touch up the edge from time to time and it’s good to go.
