Does the Job
Works as it should. Make sure to prepare the line by having the end smooth with no burrs and the clamp tight. I used a bit of lube on the die as well.

Fiddly, but functional
I broke a brake line on my 1999 Honda CRV which uses M10x1.0 fittings and utilize a double flange, meaning I can not just buy a brake line at a parts store and bend it into shape. I had to make my own line from scratch. This unit lacks in-depth instructions but since I have watched several videos on how these work, I was able to make a proper double flange on my 4th and 5th attempt. The first 3 were intentionally for practice, while the last two were the ones that are now working perfectly on the car! For the little bit of money, I have to say that this is a great value, and if you are using it just occasionally, I would say that the durability and build quality are much more than adequate. Overall, I am very pleased. Just be sure to watch some videos, be patient, and practice first on some short scrap pieces of line.

Adequate for single flares, inconsistent holding power for doubles.
I wasn't able to make consistent double-flares with this tool in 5/16" steel tubing. Single flares worked fine, and double flares worked fine in aluminum/copper/brass. The clamp just wouldn't hold hard enough to get the doubles to fold over without slipping.

I saved the Shop air compressor with this little tool!
I needed only a bubble flange so this tool worked great for 3/16" copper tubing. It only does bubble flanges but up to 1/2" Recommend it if that is what you need.

Gets the job done with no fuss
Works as it should. Other reviewers seemed to have trouble with it but maybe they just aren’t as smart as you need to be to able to use the tool properly.
