The last thing I wanted was to buy yet another beauty tool, but this one really is worth it for me for jelly masks. I am a recent convert to the joy and effectiveness of jelly masks but always struggled with the application. I would use the back of a cheap plastic spoon because it contoured to my face and could be easily wiped clean, or thrown away if the mask was too dry. However, it made for a messy and uneven mask application. The set includes 3 little spatulas. They are very lightweight and comfortable to hold and on the skin. The applicator part is quite flexible and bends with minimal pressure, making the process of slopping the mask on your face much easier. The downside is that since it's so flexible, the spatulas are not good for mixing stiffer masks. I gave it a try but wound up having better luck with said trusty plastic spoon for stirring the mask mix. The spatulas are very easy to clean, too. The spatula will even work to help peel off the mask, such as gently lifting the edges to get a good grip to peel off the rest. At just $5, this is a good buy. You have plenty for yourself if one breaks, or they would be a nice gift to include if you are giving a jelly mask to a friend.
