Pleased with purchase!
I purchased this item as I was concerned that the furnace may have been leaking a little gas. After it arrived, I immediately tested the furnace, and was relieved that there was no issues. I actually liked it so much, I purchased another one as a backup. Great value for the price as well, easy to use, and perfect size. Great quality as well.

Good Device
I've been an RV technician for 40 years. I've seen these devices come and go and I've owned several other ones. This one seems to work very well! I recently pin pointed a propane leak in less than 3 minutes with this device. The light on it helps alot too!

Impressive.......
Well-designed gas leak detector. The telescoping gas sensor and light makes this very easy to use and store. Rechargeable battery is a plus. Very impressed with this unit, its price point and value for the money. Works well. Low and high sensitivity setting. Useful and comprehensive instructions. I would definitively recommend and buy again.

Found my gas leak immediately!
The small size is great for keeping in my kitchen drawer. I have a 1928 gas stove so it is either on or off but when it was off, I was smelling gas. Ordered this for next day delivery and found my gas leak and fixed it before there was a major problem. Since the leak was inside, it was not the gas company's problem... I also have a truck camper and we take it with us for testing our propane tanks and stoves to have piece of mind.

Would I trust this as a sole means of leak detection? No. But for the price is this an effective tool to locate the source of a leak, absolutely. Great value and works as advertised.
