This audio device has so many features! Firstly, it is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for bird training. Back in the '90's we had a parakeet and we used a cassette recorder with an endless loop cassette. Of course, this is MUCH EASIER. We had it up and running in about 5 minutes after watching the very short product videos. The idea is NOT to use the prerecorded phrases but to record your own voice. Read the manual to see how easy it is to loop. Let me throw out a HUGE compliment to the manufacturers of this product: to take the time to not only integrate an excellent FM tuner, but when I held my ears close to the speaker low and behold, the devices little speakers are STEREO! I am sure the mp3 player, which I will never use, works great as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I am buying a second unit to listen to FM radio!

I would’ve given this five stars, but it really is kind of hard to understand. There aren’t a lot of instructions to go with it.

I am giving this item 3 stars because of the ingenuity of the product. It is a wonderful device that has the potential to be perfect. The only thing wrong is everything that is wrong with it. All of the phrases that it says have foreign accents. I do not want my birds speaking in different accents. For such a product, the words should be almost montone or machine-like in speaking. Once the bird learns the words or phrase in that voice, that is the way it will say it always. It knows no other way to say it. I personally do not want to hear that all the time. There are musical tunes also in the machine that do not have words or speaking, so that can be used with no problem. Without the songs, I would not keep this at all.

I'm kind of on the fence about this one. This thing is basically a Bluetooth speaker with a built-in radio function and antenna that has also a TF card reader in it with a bunch of files of a lady saying a bunch of different phrases.Now basically you can take that SD card out and put it in just about any Bluetooth speaker or anything with a card reader and use those phrases to train your birds to speak. Now to be honest I really kind of like this without the SD card in it as just a Bluetooth speaker because of the simple fact I can actually take the same kayaking with me, camping, going out and doing radio stuff, fishing, out cruising around on a bicycle or anything and be able to actually listen to radio on a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker which is actually super cool. The phrases are cool and I did try to set it up so my birds can listen to it and it's all right but the phrases are kind of weird for some of them. So technically I kind of just like taking SD card out putting it in a different Bluetooth speaker I have like a cheaper one that doesn't have the radio function and playing it for the birds and then I actually just use the Bluetooth speaker / radio and take it with me on the go. Then 10 on this thing actually gets really big and I can pick up stations from really far away and not only that it's all on a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker that has an AUX port, TF card reader, bluetooth, and the radio. So basically what I'm getting at is if you're going to get this to train your birds technically the SD card has extra room on it so you can just download files off the internet and put it on there and actually not use the phrases on here or you can just use those and play those for your birds and they might actually enjoy those also but my suggestion is pull the SD card out of here pop it into a different Bluetooth one and just use this thing as a Bluetooth radio that you can pretty much take anywhere. But overall I highly recommend it it kind of wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it ended up working out in my favor that time so that is kind of cool

When I got this it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It's smaller than I anticipated and my big meats have a hard time working the controls. The recorded voices (as others have said) aren't super clear and have an accent. That's probably fine since I never meant to use their included phrases anyway. What really got to me is that for a thing meant to be used around birds, it's got the durability of a cardboard box. I know it's not meant to be an actual bird toy but considering it is likely to going to be annoying to them and in proximity you have to expect they're going to go after it. For smaller birds it's probably fine. Buy my cranky macaw made extremely short work of this thing. I had no idea he'd go to across the room to get at it but... he sure did. And it did NOT survive. Features: 8 out of 10 Controls: 4 out of 10 Durability: 0 out of 10 I know that it's not fair to expect things to hold up to an angry mac but damnit, if you expect things to be around birds you have to expect that birds are going to get to them. And this probably should not be around larger birds.

I love the size it's small but loud. It's easy to use but the recording it comes with is not to good my birds didn't like it at all. It's has female and male voices but the pronunciation is not that great. You could record your own frases and also link it to your phone and put music or sounds for your birds. Well at least this is the reason I got mine, to teach them more frases.
