I'm happy with this. It is sturdy and it was easy to assemble. I like this design because I hate the rods I currently have where the connection falls in the middle of the rod. The pieces all threaded together evenly, the finish was evenly matched on all pieces and the seams are almost invisible. I purchased the silver color--it is not as shiny like my pewter rods but I like the look. It is more matte and has a sprayed-on look so I'd say it is more informal. If you use all of the pieces (to make a long rod), be sure to assemble it in the room where you plan to use it! Also read the directions first and screw the pieces together gently so they thread evenly. I didn't have any trouble.

Very nice curtain rod. The individual pieces screw together securely, and it is adjustable up to 120" with no sagging (with a center rod holder, of course). Easy to put together and hang.

I ordered a long extended rod and a shorter one. The pieces fit together well on the long rod. However the pieces for the short rod were not tooled correctly. The threaded piece would not screw halfway into the adjoining peice. I tried switching treads. Nothing worked So there was a gap. The peices fit, hit or miss. I was still able to hang the rods a they did not sag. The quality is heavy duty but the the threading needs improvement.

Easy to assemble and even though it comes in multiple pieces, it fits together flawlessly and looks like one long rod. It’s not skinny and dinky like some of the other brands. Beautiful gold color!

I purchased two sizes of this rod; one for a bedroom and the other for the living room. I like that there is a range of lengths to use for each rod. Rod comes with multiple 15.7" length pieces rather than being just two pieces where one slides into the other (but one rod IS slightly smaller diameter so it slides inside another to adjust overall length more accurately). Rod was easy to put together, is nice and sturdy, and looks great. I'd definitely purchase another one when I need a curtain rod.

I bought 4 different curtain rods that all claimed to be gold or brass to compare and choose from. Of those, this one seemed the sturdiest and definitely the heaviest. We so wanted this to be the one - the finial was classic looking and not cheap, but the color is so clearly painted on - it really looks more like plastic. It does not have a shine, like the pictures here depict. Like less shine than a gold spray paint finish. Sent it back :(

I like the way they were put together. It made the rod very sturdy with no sag
