It's hard to actually rate this product. I measured my dog's head as shown in the instructions and his measurements were clearly within the range for a size "medium". When the item arrived, it was WAY too small. The flaps that go under the chin did not even come together, let alone could I overlap them enough to secure the little hat. I was very disappointed, because the hat itself was really cute and beautifully made-quality materials for sure. I returned the product and got the refund promptly to my Amazon account. I am debating if I should order another one in size Large. I did check the tag on the hair that was sent to me and it said "medium" but the measurement from one end of the hat to the other along the hat where it goes under the chin was not enough to cover the measurements indicated in the chart for a size "medium", so I am wondering if this particular hat was mis-labeled.I gave this 4 stars because of the beautiful quality of the product - just be careful on the size! Also, it does not really cover up the dog's ears - just be aware of that. I have a basset hound and need something that will keep his ears warm when we walk in very cold weather. This may not work for that.

i ordered this thinking it would help my dogs ears it did nothing it is poorly made and doesnt do anything to help the dogs ears returned this item via ups waiting for my refund
