Ants appeared in my shower to eat mildew, but the gel quickly became the more appealing choice for them. I’ve been using Advion ant gel for years now, and it’s always been far more effective than any Terro product. Last time I had to use it was 5 years ago, and after that, I haven’t seen them inside up until recently. I’ve only used the tubes before, but these stations make it easier for removing the bait after the swarm is over. The instructions weren’t so clear so for my first trap I just opened it without squeezing the gel into the main compartment. I find opening the trap gives them easier access to the gel when used indoors. It’s a good idea to spread the gel to give it more surface area, so more ants can feed at the same time. Within just 12 hours, the swarm was gone, with a dozen dead ants in the tub. There’s little to no ant activity in the yard, I think it wiped the colony. Here’s to another 5 years of ant free interiors thanks to Advion!

Worked wonderfully. Ants were noticed one day, this was recommended and ordered for next morning delivery. Was put out right away and it seems to have worked in 1 day. We have not seen any ants now for 2-3 days. There isn’t any smell. So far seems to be worth the money.

The product worked very well on one type of ants, but did not work on "crazy ants". The crazy ants (tiny ants that run in all directions like crazy) were not at all interested. Would be great if it worked on all ants.

Definitely brings the ants out of hidden nests or cracks and then does its job. No more ants!

Advion is fantastic for Argentine ants, but these ant stations don't work, the ants ignore them. Get the gel and drop it directly on their pathway.

What I call sugar ants go around these. I don't know how old the product is, but the box containing the bait stations has a copyright year of 2024 - no expiration or manufacture date that I can find. And, yes I squeezed the gel capsule as directed and it went into the central compartment. I even put a thin wood strip down through the trap opening to retrieve a small amount of gel to smear on the opening. Ants just aren't interested. Went back to Terro, which ants seem to like.

Worked great for Ghost Ants

I live and die by these bait stations. Love Advion in general, but these are so easy to deploy. No plungers or product drying out before you can use it all. Just see ants…deploy bait station where ants are…say goodbye to ants. Takes less than a day to stop the train if them from coming in. It also helps address the nest to keep them from coming back. Plus, super affordable for being this effective and easy. Well worth it.
