Great lax set!
I looked at a TON of lax sets and sticks for our 4 year old and I’m so glad I went with this. I hate cheap looking and feeling kids lax “equipment” and this is the exact opposite of that while still being a great intro toy set. My 4 year old has been begging to go out and play with it every Fay and it’s great that there’s enough sticks to “play” as well. It’s held up great to being out in the head and exposed to the elements as well as 4 year old play. Look no further!

Nice set for kids
Great set for toddler, sturdy aluminum sticks and a good sized net. Much better to use the aluminum sticks for scooping practice than flimsy plastic.

Cuz you can’t, you won’t, & you don’t stop
Grow your k2 program. Kids can crash into these things and no forms to fill out.Older kids refuse to get off the field because they are playing 3x infinity after their prac.Just tie up the hole and tell the older kids tennis balls only. They will start bringing tennis balls in their prac bags. The field sticks work great. Rip out the lower shooter. Double up on the sidewall and they work great for ankle-bitters.They don’t dye well, but maybe we took it to far?

Great value for the cost
Trying to get my 6 and 3yo involved in lax. 3yo seemingly taking up this sport and has had fast grip on skills, he can handle the stick and the smaller sized ball doesn’t weigh the stick down. Net is perfect for these two and didn’t even realize the goalie stick came too!… so far so good, worth every penny. If you are trying to see if your kids would like this sport, this is a great starter pack

**Review of the Mavrik Mini Lacrosse Set: A Mom’s Perspective**As a mom who’s always on the lookout for fun, safe, and engaging ways to get my kids moving, I was thrilled when I came across the Mavrik Mini Lacrosse Set. My son, who’s 8 years old and has a lot of energy, has been interested in lacrosse for a while now, but I wanted to make sure that whatever set I purchased for him was something that would not only spark his interest but also be manageable for him to play with safely. After reading some reviews, I decided to take the plunge and order the Mavrik Mini Lacrosse Set, and I’m so glad I did!### **First Impressions**When the box arrived, I was immediately impressed by the quality of the packaging. The set was neatly packed, and the materials felt durable and well-made. The sticks and balls looked like something my son would actually want to play with, which is important when you’re dealing with kids who are picky about their gear. The set includes two mini sticks and a soft lacrosse ball, which is exactly what we were looking for: something that wasn’t too intense but still gave my son a chance to practice the sport in a fun, approachable way.The sticks themselves are much smaller than regulation lacrosse sticks, which is perfect for kids, especially younger ones. The soft lacrosse ball included in the set is ideal for beginners and also makes it safer for indoor or backyard play, which is something I was particularly concerned about. With my son’s boundless energy, I wanted something that wouldn’t be dangerous to him or his little sister when they were playing around the house.### **Ease of Use and Setup**Setting up the Mavrik Mini Lacrosse Set was a breeze. The mini sticks are lightweight and easy to handle, even for my younger daughter (who’s 5). The size of the sticks made it simple for both of them to grip and learn basic lacrosse techniques like cradling and passing. I appreciate that the set comes with two sticks because it allows them to play together and have friendly matches. It also gave me the opportunity to get involved and show them a few moves, which turned out to be a lot of fun for all of us.The soft ball included in the set bounces easily but doesn’t fly too far, which means I’m not running after it every five minutes. The ball is squishy enough to reduce the risk of injury during those inevitable moments when the kids get a little too enthusiastic with their shots, but it still mimics the feel of a real lacrosse ball, which I think is great for them as they learn the sport.### **Fun Factor**Let me tell you, the fun factor is through the roof with this set! My son and daughter have been spending hours outside, practicing their passes, throwing the ball into the air, and even trying to catch it. It’s been such a great way to get them active without feeling like we’re forcing them into something. They genuinely look forward to grabbing the Mavrik sticks after school. The fact that it’s mini-size and doesn’t require a ton of space is a big bonus. We’ve been able to play in our backyard, in the park, and even in our living room (on days when the weather’s bad). Because the sticks are smaller, they don’t take up much room, and the ball doesn’t damage anything when it bounces around. It’s a great way for my kids to develop their hand-eye coordination and agility without the intense setup or rules that come with regular lacrosse. My son, especially, is really into it and has started mimicking moves he’s seen on TV during lacrosse games. I can tell he’s learning a lot just through this simple set. Even my daughter, who’s not quite at the same skill level, loves to pretend she’s playing in a big game. They often team up against me, and it’s been fun to watch them strategize and enjoy each other’s company.### **Safety and Durability**As a mom, safety is always my top concern, and I’m pleased to say that this set checks all the boxes. The soft ball is gentle enough that it doesn’t cause injury, even during a fast throw or an accidental hit. The sticks are sturdy yet flexible, and I haven’t had any issues with them bending or breaking during rough play. There’s also a nice level of cushioning where the kids hold the sticks, making them comfortable to use for extended periods. In terms of durability, I’ve been thoroughly impressed. We’ve had this set for a few months now, and it’s been subjected to plenty of rough-and-tumble action, from the kids running around with the sticks to occasional tosses against the side of the house. Despite all of that, the sticks have held up really well, showing no signs of wear and tear. Plus, the soft ball doesn’t get damaged easily, which is fantastic considering how many times it’s been kicked, thrown, or bounced around.### **Educational Value**I love that the Mavrik Mini Lacrosse Set also offers a chance for my kids to build new skills. Not only is lacrosse an exciting sport, but it’s also one that involves a lot of coordination, teamwork, and focus. As my kids practice their cradling, passing, and catching, I’ve noticed them getting better at following through with their movements and staying engaged during play. Even though it’s a mini version of the sport, it’s teaching them the basics in a way that’s fun and accessible. Moreover, my son is starting to show more interest in the actual game of lacrosse. He asks me questions about the rules, about the equipment used in professional games, and about the athletes who play. It’s been a great conversation starter, and I’m excited to see his enthusiasm grow.### **Conclusion**Overall, the Mavrik Mini Lacrosse Set has been a fantastic investment for our family. It’s fun, safe, durable, and the perfect size for kids. Whether you have a child who is already interested in lacrosse or just wants something to get them outdoors and active, this set provides an excellent introduction to the sport. I’m so happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it to other parents looking for a high-quality, beginner-friendly lacrosse set. My kids are loving it, and as a mom, I appreciate how much it has helped them stay active, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun.
