The game is a lot of fun, but know that it does have a lot of little pieces and requires quite a bit of set up especially for new players. But it's totally worth the hassle, especially if your playgroup enjoys games like Dead by Daylight. The quality of the board and other game components make this game totally worth it.

This was my first hidden movement game, so it took me a short amount of time to learn. The rule book is easy to understand and after the initial setup, my kids and I played. The game is quite immersive and the scenarios provided give a sense of dread and pressure to the investigators. There are a lot of cards and small tokens, so don't get overwhelmed; the adversary rulebook will tell you what tokens and cards to use and what each means. We absolutely love the spirit mechanic which allows a player or players who died in the game continue playing as a spirit via the spirit cards. I initially bought this game for upcoming spooky season, but it has turned out to be a weekly play with my family and my game group. If you enjoy paranormal and/or slasher movies you will definitely enjoy this game. I am hoping for an expansion with additional scenarios in the future. Love this game!
