Does it amplify the sound? AbsolutelyIs the groove where you put the phone deep enough for stability? NoDoes the base weigh enough to hold the phone upright? NoDo the internal openings line up so that you can listen and charge at the same time? NoI just lay the phone flat on top to increase the volume.

I was very disappointed with the sound quality of this stand. Yes, it does make the sound louder, but, man, is it ever tinny sounding! The other thing I didn't like is that while the picture shows that the phone is sitting at a slight angle, the stand I received, did not allow my iPhone to sit at an angle and it was sitting straight up, which made it hard for me to see the screen. I use an app at night while brushing my teeth and need to be able to look at the screen, this did not allow me to do so. Needless to say, I returned the item.

First and foremost yes it sounds tinny. It’s a small box amplifying a small speaker. I expected a bit of that. That being said it’s not bad. Fun little impromptu amplipher for my phone. Great to grab and listen to music when I’m playing with my little one outside or in the house. It’s not a big deal if he grabs it, gets dropped, or left on the patio. Simple light weight. Handy little luxury for a busy mom. Be nice to throw in a back pack for camping too. No power needed speaker. Just wish they made one that would accommodate a phone inside a case! But really no complaints.

I was very excited to get this stand. I was quickly let down however when I opened the box and my phone didnt fit. Clarification, my phone fit into the hole, but the speaker remains above it. I have an older phone (Galaxy s6 active), my son has an IPhone and was more than happy to take. Win some/lose some.

When I first saw this I was disappointed and then I set my iPhone in it and turned on Pandora. The sound improved a lot! I was pleasantly surprised. I thought there would be a charging spot with this stand but there isn't which is disappointing but the quality of the sound kind of muted that. (Get what I did there? Muted? Sound?) The stand is pretty which is a bonus.

I've tried this product out for a few days before writing a review, and so far, I like it! I have the round version and use it to put my phone on my nightstand, so I can more easily use my phone as an alarm clock. Being able to wrap your phone cord in the stand is a clever design and it works well. I also love that the stand is both a nice quality and very affordable.Small suggestion to the manufacturer: maybe try to make the box less tightly closed. It may have just been me, but there was so little wiggle room, the top portion didn't slide off easily at all.

This is a great little stand that does a good job magnifying the sound, it does not however have a place to charge the phone.

I keep this little wooden cube in my bathroom perfect for shower music it amplifies it just enough. It fits the iPhone 5SE with tech 21 case
